Democrats See Our Nation As Groups

Conservative blogger Rick Moran, brother of TV journalist Terry, is all over the Chris Muir cartoon with a completely different take, reminding fellow conservatives of their former outrage last year,

Many of you will recall when we conservatives came down hard on Jane Hamsher of Firedog Lake for her photoshopped picture of Joe Lieberman in minstrel make up. It is an unnecessary, hurtful reminder of days past when black people were thought not good enough to share the stage with white people. And to make matters worse, the Minstrel Show itself portrayed blacks in the most nauseatingly, submissive, subservient ways imaginable…

There is just something so embarrassing about watching white people acting out black stereotypes that one wants to turn away or change the channel. It is a painful reminder of how things used to be in America – a shameful legacy that to this day we are trying to overcome.

Rick certainly has a point.  One of the hallmarks of conservative thought is rational consistency, which would seem to put Muir’s piece over the line.

Then too, Rick’s point about “white people acting our black stereotypes” could just as easily be directed at Eminem.

Moran updates, noting that Commenter/blogger, Just Barking Mad, offers this view,

The question is whether this is the famous Clinton Chameleon ability or the more subtle racism of seeing people, as Muir’s Damon says, as a group and not as individuals. I don’t think that Ms. Clinton is a racist like the Kluxers of old (did someone say Robert Byrd?) but she is the new racist, the kind that sees blocs of voters as targets to be pandered to, instead of individuals. Hence her speaking to an audience like it was full of Aunt Jemimas and Steppin Fetchits.

This is likely to be a lively debate all day long.

Hmmm, Hillary is striking in minstrel black.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

So is Hillary trying to act like she is black too? What the Clinton’s do for votes???

Whenever I am in a state to listen to or read anything about this person, I go to my desktop and open the following text file:

San Francisco, California, June 28, 2004:

“We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

Discussing her plan for nationalized health care in 1993:

“We just can’t trust the American people to make those types of choices ... Government has to make those choices for people.”

As my neighbor says, “that pretty much ‘splains that person”

Her ability to pander is only exceeded by her disdain of the american people.

If you are tempted and can stomach the political debate tonight from Orangeburg, SC, it will be interesting to watch the actions of Hillary!.
A house full of Democrats essentially pandering to the black vote in SC. The blacks come out in great numbers to vote, even in the party primaries. You carry the black vote in a SC democratic Presidential primary, you will probbaly win.
It will be interesting to see if the other candidates gang up on Hillary! Will she put on her fakey ebonics to form that bond with the common people? Will she put up that defensive mechanism of that little chuckle that is meant to discredit the questioner and the question before she attempts to answer a question that puts her on the spot?
Just think about it, we have a democratic primary coming up based upon skin pigmentation and the possession or lack of a viginia.

I don’t think my husband can stand it. Me either…

ZZ,
Hillary is a straight up Marxist.

A phony, liar, poll-driven, script-reading, married-for-political convenience, Rosie O’Donnel look alike, and now for her bad points......

It is interesting that no one points out that the original story that gave Muir the idea for his idiotic cartoon was false to begin with. Classic Out-of-context theater.

So, no, Clinton is not racist. She may be manipulative and robotic, but she’s not racist.

Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand is a racist.
