Democrats Make Energy Policy Press Conference Open To Public, Hilarity Ensues

Come for the part where Pelosi asks the protesters if “we can drill your brains,” stay for the part where she flees the scene...in an SUV.

I’m normally not in favor of protesters disrupting public events like this.  Free speech doesn’t extend to shouting down your political opponents.  But given the way Speaker Pelosi has refused to allow debate about the drilling issue to take place in the House, even going so far as to turn off the microphones of Republicans trying to bring the issue up (not to mention turning the lights out on them while they were still on the House floor), let’s just say she deserves this.

That just warms the heart. I wish I could have been there with those nice people trying to explain reality to Ms. Pelosi.

"Big Oil” is such a lame insult when big government is the real enemy.

I don’t know, Rob.  The way those speech-suppressing douche bags that pie conservative speakers in the face and shout down entire public speaking engagements act, I’d say a little dose of their own medicine is just fine.

Call me when a group of conservatives rush the stage of a progg speaker to the point where they have to remove the speaker due to safety concerns.

The real sad part is that oil companies have many more places that they can drill than places that they can’t drill and the protesters are expending a lot of energy over nothing. The oil companies don’t want to drill or they would be drilling.

Nancy knows this, but she doesn’t say it. Why not?

See how moonbat wackadoos value free speech by mindlessly shouting the same things over and over so that their opponents cannot be heard!
