Democrats Go After Wrong Foley

Hmm...

The Democratic National Committee sent out an email release at 12:14 p.m. EDT asking “Where’s The Outrage?” and opening with the line: “In the wake of a scandal involving Republican Congressman Tom Foley’s inappropriate and criminal communications with underage Congressional pages, it is clear that the leaders of both the GOP House re-election committee and the Speaker of the House knew that Foley had engaged in behavior that was, at best, highly questionable.”

The only problem with that is that Tom Foley is a) a Democrat and b) no longer has a seat in the House.

Mark Foley is who they meant.

Comments

I say we need to launch an investigation into Tom Foley.  Obviously the Democrats know that there’s something there.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

The appropriately self named aNONOMISLY opines:

next they’ll go for the wrong Bin Laden.

Possible, since we’re talking about the democrats here.  They are, after all, the party that:

  1. Indicted Bin Laden for terrorist acts.
  2. declined to extradite him
  3. declined to capture him due to risk of collateral damage
  4. had an ex-president so concerned with his “legacy” that he claimed to have ordered the assasination of Bin Laden in violation of Executive Orders and international law

There’s a reson the democrats are spending most of their energy right now on Foley, aNON, it’s because they have no leg to stand on when it comes to national security and the war on terror.
