Democrats Don’t Care If Gas Hits $10 a Gallon!

Because, after all, the taxpayers are filling their tanks for them!

And, gosh darn it! We wouldn’t want the Republicans to be able to take any credit for it!

Hats off to McConnell for pushing the point as it sure makes the dims look stupid (er, stupider).  Hope that McCain picks up on this in his campaign.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

Seems ripe for a campaign ad from somebody!

Someone in his campaign is going to have to pick it up for McCain.  He’s tone deaf when it comes to not getting along with his Democrat buddies.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

The Bush administration is like a big wet dream for the oil companies. They got everything they could have wanted bar drilling in Alaska wildlife reveres and offshore. It’s a shame for the country that republicans are such scumbags ... i mean their answer to the high oil prices is too complete the big oil companies wish list and allow them to drill wherever they want, even though they would not get new oil until in about 10 years. And then they will sell it onto the international market for the highest price, which would make no difference to gas prices in the US.

On the other hand, the Democrats wanted to take the oil speculators out but the scumbags said no. It is going to make things worse for the republicans in the elections,IMO. Bush wants to keep his oil buddies happy even at the expense of the repube. party! and drag the country down the drain even further.

I sort of admire the republicans, sellouts until the last.

Sting:  The oil companies did equally well during the Clinton years and most of the protective legislation passed for big oil was done during the nearly 30 years of democratic strangle-hold on congress. 1965 - 1995.

Try not to come unglued here.

Talking points of the DNC, and it is not a winning with the american public. I can see this coming back to bite the leftards.

As opposed to raising taxes on oil and energy… Outlawing something that we CAN’T outlaw (speculation), because it’s a worldwide market… Making it harder to build refineries… Investing in alternative energy sources that at best will produce enough energy to power a car in a decade, but maybe not ever be viable… And add more expensive, engine corroding ethanol to gas which is driving up the costs…

Yea, those are better solutions… Yawn.

For the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of my country.

Toot--

He doesn’t do a spectacular job of listening to Conservatives either.  Maybe he is the first candidate in history to try winning an election with votes taken exclusively from the Squishy Middle.
