Democrats Get Anti-Heitkamp Crossroads GPS Ad Pulled Down With Another Copyright Complaint

Update: I’m told that the Crossroads folks will still be running their television campaign.

Democrats are still scrambling to keep video of liberal Democrat Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp praising Barack Obama off the internet.

Today I got a press release from Crossroads GPS announcing an ad featuring the now-infamous video of Heitkamp calling Obama “amazing,” which ND Democrats have gotten pulled from the internet previously. But when I clicked to watch the ad, I got this:

Nodland is one of the ND Democrats’ national committee members. Here’s the original link to the video.

Yesterday Stephen Moore described Heidi Heitkamp as “likable” in the Wall Street Journal. Given these heavy-handed attempts to censor Heitkamp’s past praise for Obama from the internet, I wonder just how “likable” most North Dakotans are seeing her right now.

Not very, I’d imagine. Her praise of Obama is one thing, but trying to erase that praise from the record crosses the line into outright dishonesty.
