Democrat Admits That “Ending The War In Iraq” Is Just A Campaign Promise

Not something they actually intend on doing.

Which makes sense.  The Democrats recognize that they can make nice with their base by saying very anti-war things, but they also recognize that a precipitous withdrawal of troops in Iraq would be a disaster.  A disaster that could be hung squarely on their necks.

So they have to walk a thin line by sounding off against the war while not actually accomplishing anything and blaming their lack of progress on Republicans.

Actually, I took it as a compliment.  It’s a subject that deserves attention.
