Democrat Gives Silent “Speech” Protesting Republicans
Apparently thinking he’s Bob Dylan or something, Democrat Rep. Joseph Crowley took to the floor of the House today and delivered a “speech” via a series of written signs.
I guess we’re all supposed to be in awe or something of just how stern and serious this display was. It seems breathtakingly stupid to me.
He accuses the Republicans of not passing any jobs bills. But by “job bills” this guy means more stimulus spending. He accuses Republicans of wanting killing 700,000 jobs, but what he’s talking about is government jobs which he’s alleging would be lost through spending cuts.
What he’s saying is that the Republicans have failed because they don’t want to do what the Democrats have been doing, which is grow government spending exponentially and call it economic stimulus.
