Democrat Blames Fox News For Gabrielle Giffords Shooting

It appears we’ve hit the finger-pointing trifecta in the wake of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting.

It’s Sarah Palin. It’s the tea party. Now it’s Fox News too:

Rep. Bill Pascrell, D-Paterson, said he feels the nation is approaching the status of a banana republic where there is no law and order.

“There’s an aura of hate and elected politicians feed it, certain people on Fox News feed it,” said Pascrell.

Or maybe it was just a mentally-ill kid acting on his own.

According to Jared Loughner’s MySpace page his favorite books were Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto and Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, but also Ayn Rand’s We The Living. His YouTube videos were incoherent, and not particularly indicative of any specific ideology.

He was, in a word, crazy. Attempt to capitalize on his crimes, politically and inaccurately, is disgusting.
