Dem Senate Candidate: “The Good News Is Our Emissions Are Way Down Because Of The Recession”
Missouri Democrat Claire McCaskill thinks it’s great news that emissions are down because of our stagnant economy (via Gateway Pundit).
As you can see, after she realizes what she said, she backtracks. But even if we take her at her word that she was being sarcastic about the “good news” part, there’s another problem. The narrative from the Obama administration is that his policies have worked and that we’re in recovery. In fact, First Lady Michelle Obama called it a “huge recovery” just the other day.
Yet, according to McCaskill, emissions are down because of a stagnant economy.
Which is it, Democrats?
