“Dead” Body At Qana Sitting Up?

Kevin Aylward at Wizbang has an interesting photo of corpses from Qana posted:

Notice the covered body on the end:

Looks like he’s sitting up, right? Which would indicate that the people under the sheets aren’t really dead.
Except that, they are really dead as evidenced by these pictures of the same scene.
One thing that is interesting, though, is the fact that these bodies are clearly displaying rigor mortis in photos that were apparently taken just an hour or two after the building collapsed. According to About.com, rigor mortis sets in after about 12 – 24 hours…making it seem as though the bodies have been dead longer.
Not exactly conclusive evidence, but curious indeed especially in light of earlier evidence suggesting that at least some of the bodies covered by the media in Qana were planted here.

    Not enough blood and i’ve been on the scene of a lot of crashes. At least some of the bodies would be bloody, and don’t give me the heart stopped beating. Sure it did, as soon as it pumped out a gallon of blood. Phony as a democrat that claims to care about anyone other than themselves.

    Davey, if you’d read the post thoroughly you’d notice that a) I indicated that the bodies were, in fact, dead and b) that the rigor mortis angle was interesting but not conclusive.

    I’m certainly not trying to pass any unfounded theories off as fact here, so why don’t you stuff the smarmy comments.

    I don’t consider myself a journalist.

    I stated, in the post, that the bodies were most certainly dead (apparently you still haven’t read the whole post).

    I made some speculation based on facts, and clearly noted it as speculation not entirely supported by evidence.

    This is an opinion site, and I’m rendering opinions. I could care less if “eating hamburgers makes you a Nazi” boy doesn’t take me seriously.
