Day Seven: Still No Reporting From The North Dakota Media On The Kent Conrad/Countrywide Scandal

Seven days and counting folks:

Is it really that difficult to mention that the Department of Justice is investigating Conrad’s VIP loans?  And that a witness participating in that investigation is saying things that directly contradict Conrad’s claims about not knowing he was getting special treatment?

Is it really that difficult to mention that the Department of Justice is investigating Conrad’s VIP loans?

For Von Pinnon and the rest of the water carrying Forum reporters, yes it is.

Death to Chakka

Rob, stop the clock.  The Forum has finally placed the story on the front page.  I find the headlines interesting.  “NBC: Feds Probe Loan To Conrad” “Countrywide program under fire, but senator maintains innocence” Note how it is implied as Countrywide’s malfeasance.  If Ted Stevens received favors from contractors on his house, what is the difference if Conrad received a favor due to his position?  Same thing.  A crime was committed.
