Dakota Talk Radio Promo: Potential Governor Candidates Senator Tim Mathern And Ryan Cunningham

Tomorrow we’ve got some great guests lined up for Dakota Talk.

First, we’re going to have Ryan Cunningham on.  He’s the Republican who will be campaigning against Governor John Hoeven in a primary challenge for the NDGOP nomination in 2008.  We’ll be talking to Ryan about why he, as a Republican, thinks John Hoeven shouldn’t be governor any more.

After Ryan we’ll have Senator Tim Mathern, who has been making noise about securing the North Dakota Democrat nomination for the Governor race in 2008.  We’ll, obviously, be talking to him about why he doesn’t think John Hoeven should be governor any more.  We’ll also be talking to the Senator about some issues like SCHIP.

Be sure to tune in live tomorrow night at this link at 7:00pm.

I hope we talk about the prison too. It is a serious issue and Hoeven just summarily dismisses any discussion of the issue as politics. Senator Tim Mathern

Well, the prison issue is one of the few issues that actual-conservatives actually agree with the Dem’s position.

No one in their right mind thinks a brand new prison would come in at budget for less than $100 million.

If the current facilities are good enough for the inspectors, it’s good enough for the criminals.

“ It is time we spent time on keeping our citizens crime free and our released prisoners working and paying their way instead of coming back to prison. Spending money on a new prison is digging a black hole for everyone. Senator Tim Mathern ”

Are you suggesting leaving the prison situation as is?
