Dakota Talk Live Tonight At 7:00pm Central

Update: Show’s over, listen to the archive here.

You can listen to our weekly podcast live tonight by clicking here.  To call in to the show, call (347) 677-0693.

This week on Dakota Talk we’ll be hitting on the following subjects:

If conservatives can’t support McCain in this election, what do they do?

Are North Dakota’s economic development policies fascist?

Is it right for Olympic athletes to give up their free speech in China?

Hillary Clinton wants David Shuster to be fired for his comments about Chelsea Clinton. Should he be? Is it right for a politician to call for such a thing?

Again, you can listen live by clicking here.  There will also be a chat room available at that link which I’ll be monitoring during the show if you’d like to discuss with other listeners or ask questions.  Before you come into the chat room, be sure to register first so that not everyone in the room is named “Guest.”

Rob,

I am going to support McCain even tho he was not my choice, we have been through this drill before, when conservatives didn’t vote or voted for a lost cause in protest.  That resulted in Clinton’s first and second terms.  I don’t want it to result in his third.

Olympic athletes should not give up or be forced to give up their free speech rights.  Of course most of the world does not enjoy rights to free expression.

It is impossible for me to watch NBC or CNBC or MSNBC because of their horrible socialist, anti-conservative bias, but Shuster should not be canned.  His comment was not really directed to Chelsea, more to Hil or her campaign.

If you define fascism to mean state involvement in the producing sector of the economy, then perhaps you can call ND’s economic development activities fascistic.  I think it lacks certain fascistic traits and should be termed plain ol’ Socialism.

Zsa Zsa:

conservatives didn’t vote

How right you are!! Take a look at Conservatives In Danger in the Recent Reader Entries column. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette agrees with you 100%!

I would agree with you on Shuster if liberals were as tolerant of conservative or moderate commentators. Look what ESPN did to Rush. Or what happened to Don Imus.

Shuster will spend a few days in the dog-house and then be right back at it. Looks like a double-standard to me.

THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT TWO THINGS: WINNING THE WAR ON TERRORISM AND SAVING THE SUPREME COURT.
