Daily Kos Readers: Wallace Was Too Rude To Iranian President

The folks at the Daily Kos (the far-left blog that was instrumental in garnering support for Ned Lamont in his primary race against Joe Lieberman in Connecticut) are reacting to the interview between Mike Wallace and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Here are the results from a poll they’re running on the subject:

Here’s video of the Wallace/Ahamdinejad interview.
Personally, I don’t find Wallace badgering this modern-day Nazi about why he wants to wipe Israel off the map to be all that “jingoistic” or “rude.” The readers of Daily Kos would no-doubt cheer if Wallace were trying to extract an answer from President Bush, yet they cut this tyrant a break.
And these are the people who want us to put people like Ned Lamont and other far-left Democrats in charge of the war on terror. Ahmadinejad sounds like Hitler in the 1930′s, and all these folks can do is wring their hands about Wallace being too rude to him. Or, heavens-to-betsy, too American.
Absolutely pathetic.

I’m just trying to figure out why “George Bush is an idiot and Mike Wallace his pawn” got two entries, and how the respondents chose which of the two identical versions to vote for.

Looks like Bush and Wallace aren’t the only idiots around… *snicker*

IMHO, Wallace wasn’t rude enough, although much more and he probably would’ve found himself dangling from one of those cranes Ahmadinejad is so fond of.

People totally without a clue – most dkos commentors. Our country will be in deep trouble if these people get control of congress and the presidency.

    Dave,
These people will always be idiots. Grousing is their life. None of them have the savvy to win a Dog Catcher election.

“Jingoist” is one of those insults that have been used to the point of losing it’s original bite… It has been coined as a nickname instead.

If some smarmy person so far on the fringe of the left that he’s about to fall off the edge ( think Michael Moore) wants to call me a jingoist, then I’m proud to say I am.

“”American” and “jingoistic” are now synonyms? Yikes!”

This is a standard line from the left, Dave. Evil patriotism, you know.
