It seems that McCain is going negative.

He can’t give a reason to vote for him, just to not vote for Obama.

He can’t give a reason to vote for him, just to not vote for Obama.

That’s going to be plenty for some, especially with the track record of flip flops and blunders O’blurry is racking up!

It seems that McCain is going negative.

At least he’s not running on racism, like his opponent.  That’s really negative.

If govt control of the economy were the way to go, the Soviet Union would be the richest, most powerful nation in the history of the world.

Thanks to Obama, America remains the only country where it is illegal to drill our own oil!

At least he’s not running on racism, like his opponent.

He doesn’t need to. Laura Ingraham is doing it for him.

Bullshit!  Geraldine Ferraro busted him on it right in the beginning.

Geraldine Ferraro busted him on it right in the beginning.

I believe she busted the media and not him.

Wrong, Sparkie.

Ms. Ferraro, the former congresswoman and vice-presidential candidate who backs Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, told The Daily Breeze, a newspaper in Torrance, Calif.: “If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position.

There you go.

If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position.

What? Now its Obama’s choice whether or not he’s white? Clearly she is indicting the media and the infatuated masses, not Obama. Sorry you can’t pick up on that.

Clearly she is indicting the media and the infatuated masses, not Obama. Sorry you can’t pick up on that.

Clearly, she is saying that Obama’s candidacy is race-based.  In addition to that, the racism of Obama’s campaign is ratcheting up:

Maybe you should stick with what you know, Sparkie: antique cameras.

Geraldine Ferraro busted him on it right in the beginning.

She busted him for being black? Wow. She is a sharp tack, eh?

She busted him for being black?

No, moron; she busted him for running only on his race.  Duh.  Of course, maybe you think he is a puppet…

You are trying to pin something on Obama that is the public’s failing. Also, thanks for refraining from name calling, its unbecoming.

Read the rest of what Ferraro said afterwards:

“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

She made the comments last week, but on Tuesday, the Obama camp latched on to them, calling them outrageous and demanding that Mrs. Clinton repudiate them.

In an interview on Tuesday night, Ms. Ferraro defended her comments and said she was furious with the Obama campaign, accusing it of twisting her words.

“Every time that campaign is upset about something, they call it racist,” she said. “I will not be discriminated against because I’m white. If they think they’re going to shut up Geraldine Ferraro with that kind of stuff, they don’t know me.”

“And I said, ‘I think part of it is because he’s black,’ ” she said. “People are excited about this historic candidacy. I am, too.”

But the Obama campaign “twisted” her remarks, she said. “I am livid at this thing,” she said. “Any time you say anything to anybody about the Obama campaign, it immediately becomes a racist attack.”

More from Ferraro:

Ms. Ferraro, a former congresswoman from Queens, said that in her remarks in Torrance she was drawing a parallel between the historic nature of Mr. Obama’s campaign and her own selection as vice president on Walter F. Mondale’s ticket in 1984.

“In 1984 if my name had been Gerald Ferraro, not Geraldine, I would never have gotten nominated,” she said. “Was I qualified? Absolutely.”

The same, she said, is true of the Obama candidacy. “Why is his candidacy historic? Can you give me another reason why it is an historic campaign? Why are we afraid to say this? I am absolutely stunned by this whole thing. I’m not saying he isn’t qualified, never did I say that. He is very smart. He has experience issues, but if George Bush can learn to run the country, so can this guy.”

Sparkie, Robert is right.  Obama used the race card over and over.  It is the only thing historic about a first term senator with no experience but a speech he gave in 2003 (thanks for that one Hillary) running for President.  He is not special except for the race card.  That is the only reason he is the nominee instead of Clinton or the Silk Pony.

You are trying to pin something on Obama that is the public’s failing.

Wrong.  The “public” didn’t draft him to run for President; it was his decision, and he bears responsibility for it.  Nice try at your typical dodge, though.  You are a hypocrite to criticize anyone for “namecalling”; you are the champ here at that.

r108
Its the publics fault he is succeeding. You will go to any length. Even Ferraro says its pure ‘luck’ that he is black.

The “public” didn’t draft him to run for President; it was his decision, and he bears responsibility for it.

And the public bears the responsibility for his success. As I said.

Keep spinning, dervish.

You continue to be confused, Sparkie.  I said that Obama’s candidacy was racist in origin, and I backed it up with facts.  You try to change the subject; very weak.
As Geraldine Ferraro said, he wouldn’t be running if not for his skin color.  What part of that don’t you understand?
