Coakley Goon Who Roughed Up Weekly Standard Reporter Is Appointed Member Of The Obama Admin.
His name is Michael P. Meehan, and per Gateway Pundit he is an Obama administration appointee. He was apparently sent to Massachusetts to help Coakley with her campaign.

This begs two questions:
First, and foremost, Obama will be firing this guy right? After all, surely Obama doesn’t condone this sort of behavior from members of his administration.
Second, this begs the question, why exactly are the taxpayers footing the bill for someone like Meehan to go to Massachusetts on the President’s orders to campaign for Coakley? According to reports, Meehan was sent to Massachusetts to help Coakley with “messaging.”
Seems to me that the liberals should hire their own campaign staff. The federal government is bankrupt. The taxpayers are shouldering enough burden without having to pay for Democrat campaign staff as well.
By the way, you have to love how the Associated Press is spinning this: They say McCormack “stumbled” and that Meehan was just helping him up.
