CNN’s John King: Media Failed To Properly Vet Obama

Nice of him to admit nine days before the election.

In an interview with South Carolina ETV set to air on “The Big Picture” Oct. 30, CNN chief national correspondent John King criticized his colleagues’ coverage of not only Obama and Palin, but the overall election. But he also found time to criticize McCain on the economy.
King said the media were too focused on Sen. Hillary Clinton’s bid for the Democratic nomination that they failed to properly vet Obama.
“I think there’s some very legitimate criticism that we did not treat all of the candidates in the Democratic race, but particularly the top two or three equally, because of the Clinton obsession in the national media,” King told host Mark Quinn. “It is a very fair point. We need to learn that lesson.”

Yeah. They need to learn that lesson. After Obama’s in the White House.

    I read a comment (I can’t remember by whom or where, sorry) to the effect that as the election gets close we could expect the media to feign contrition for the bad job they did vis-a-vis covering Obama, and that they would couch it in much the same terms that Mr. King has now used. That person looks pretty prescient now…

    Now it’ll be CYA for the media…. viewership down… people pi$$ed at their mediocre broadcasting ineptitude…. revenues falling….. and a potential ice-out by the Obamatron his self…..

    They have gotten whiff of the Goebbels like coming tactics from an Obama-bin-Biden regime.

    Too late now for them to try and be “un-biased”…..
