CNN Reporter Openly Hostile To Tea Party Protesters

Come for the sanctimonious, arrogant dismissal of the protesters and stay for her grilling some guy who, along with his progeny, will be paying off Obama’s 100 day spending spree long after she’s gone to the old journalists retirement home.

The title of the video at YouTube is “CNN Reporter Harassed at Chicago Tea Party.” Of course, given her attitude, the “harassment” she got (which amounted to the protesters shouting at her to quit cutting people off and let them answer) seemed appropriate.
In fact, one gets the feeling that she was really just there to provoke the protesters into saying something stupid for the camera, given the way she was acting.

Looking at that clip again, I finally realized why the CNN bimbette’s performance seemed familiar. Take away the visuals, and what you’re left with is Hannitized’s incessant, sanctimonious quibbling.

But, but, Obama is bringing us together…

  • sayanything-2407

Unfortunately it isnt just CNN, but peopel like Shuster, and Cooper Anderson, and otehr so-called news people not doing news but making crude and suggestive remarks about tea bagging, when it is a TEA PARTY.

The media I beleive coined the term teabagging for this event just so they can have somesort of juvenile locker room humor on air instead of presenting the news.

They wonder why their rating continue to go down as viewers look elsewhere for someone to give them the news. The medias display about this protest is nothing short than disgusting. Perhaps Anderson Cooper can do his 360 for the bathroom next time – because that is where his toilet bowl humor needs to be. It isn’t news he is bringing.

  • robert108

    This is of course insane.

Yeah, so “insane” that Mac users are not subjected to all the hacker crap on the internet. Your definition of “fascism” needs revising, dude.
The PC platform reminds me of the Clinton administration, in that it ignored cyberterrorism, while the Mac platform is focused on protecting the owners from terrorist attacks, and largely succeeds.

  • robert108

r108, I think Suite was talking business models.

So was I; in fact, Mac is more interested in serving their customers by providing a stable, high quality product, than it is in trying to get the lowest price. One of the aspects about economic freedom is that you can spend more money to get better stuff, if you want to. To me, the PC world just looks like a collectivist hell. The latest misadventure with Vista is a good example. The real problem for Mac people is that Apple is moving over to the PC way of doing things, much like the RINOs are trying to be like Dems. Not a good thing.
IMO, the free market and competition makes for more product diversity, not more uniformity.

  • sayanything-2407

Nothing you said can be refuted. I can say you harbor desire to chomp on Ando’s dick. You can deny it. I can say I don’t believe you.

There is always debate, but since you do not want to, and say that nothing I said can be refuted, you instead resort to disgusting homosexual attacks. You truly are a sick individual. I have had both male and female friends who were gay and none of them treat people like you do. You really should seek help.

I remember having friends back in the day and we’d screw around with DOS. I got to learn how to maneuver around in a MS-DOS shell along with coding the DOS to have pretty colors and to say funny things at the C prompt.

I kind of miss those times. Now I just mess around with my environment for laughs.

  • studakota

Liberals have blinded themselves to any criticism of socialism, Communism, and the like forever, it seems, But why do thy do it? Why, for instance, was the, obviously, finely tuned mind of George Bernard Shaw so easily brain-washed as to what he must have seen in his visit to the USSR? While horrendous purges were taking place he ignored the issue, even lied about it. Why no honest reporting of Che’s bloodthirsty execution squads? Instead of condemation there is “sweat shirt exhultation”. Why was “star wars” serious but North Korea’s rockets are not? Why is beheading, stoning, a just retribution, but water up one’s nose horrific? Then there’s the free passes to the Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, state sponsored abattoirs. I think “Vengeance Against the Haves, and Redistribution of Their Wealth” would be a fitting description of the flawed gene these absurd apologists seem to share.

  • http://SayAnythingBlog.com The_Whistler_ofnd

I have to laugh how that ditz started talking about how Illinois is getting “50 billion from the stimulus.”

Is she really that boneheadedly stupid not to realize that it’s our own money. And that we’re going to be paying that how many times over?

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/america_is_back/#c397018 Dino2

I remember when we had Mac classics.

God I hated those pieces of shit. For computer class, we had to program via Pascal on those things of which half the time would screw up our disks and there was no where else to save your data. The teacher wouldn’t give us a reprieve if the disk didn’t work due to these expensive doorstops when the second before the program worked. We had to deliver it and let it run in front of the class and those machines just crapped out and fucked up our programs as a classroom type russian roulette of computer pain.

I’m so glad I use a PC now. Apple has definitely improved but I like the PC much, much, better.

  • EricArthurBlair

I agree that she WAS roughed up… intellectually.

She tried to find some patsy she thought she could embarrass and he turned the tables on her and made her look like the lightweight boob she is. And as soon as she realized she’d picked on somebody her own size (her intellectual superior, actually), she quickly tried to shut him up with irrelevancies (“You mean you wouldn’t trade your liberty and a $132,000 debt on your 2-year old daughter for a $400 tax credit?”). And because he wouldn’t take the bait, she just shut him down, like the yellow journalist she is.

Hard to blame her really — these “reporters” have heretofore covered only leftist protests (conservatives have to work) that are attended by professional ACORN protestors, empty-skulled college students and bums bussed in from soup kitchens, who usually have no clue why they’re even there. So it’s easy to see why she thought she’d find it easy to find a lightweight to embarrass. But she succeeded in only embarrassing herself.

And then to watch her complain that it was “not family viewing” was priceless! Coming as it does from the network that gleefully and unapologetically covers gay pride parades, leftwing anarchists, college students attacking conservative speakers, nipple-pierced Code Pink freaks and rampaging mobs of leftist nutcases who need riot police to keep them under control.

What great entertainment it is watching a flailing network embarrass itself so thoroughly!

  • dawneyr

Wow. She wouldn’t even let him answer the question. That isn’t unbiased journalism. I didn’t know CNN was THAT bad. I can’t believe she treated him like that in front of his little child. The funny part is that she then appeals to “family viewing” like that’s even remotely on the radar. How sad that she doesn’t see a correlation between loss of liberty and raising taxes. Spoken like an O-blivious pawn.

  • mplsbob

Was she supposed to be a reporter or a shill for Obama?
She asks a guys opinion and then proceeds to fight him on it. Nice. Very objective.

I agree the best way to influence a media’s editorial slant is by jamming up their bank account; not tuning in helps diminish their advertizing rates.

Does anyone know of a web site that lists the companies that advertize on CNN? I would be willing to write to these companies directly to report my friends and I are boycotting their parent company and subsidiaries. I haven’t watched CNN is a long while and I have no interest in starting now.

My brotherinlaw, the software and systems designer, is a MAC. When we first got a computer, HP Pavilion, we asked him questions. And his answer was”Get a MAC”. It was far too late at that point. Wifey and I have used their computers when we visit, and MAC just seems a lot more complicated, far less user friendly. I quickly got the laptop, and never looked back.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/readers/entry/homosexuality_is_wrong_-_a_compendium move_zig

Three city blocks, both sides of the street in this small town. During lunch hour. At least 3 other TEA parties within 10 miles. The vehicles honked in support as they slowly drove past and the crowd hooted and hollered.

Very clean-cut, family crowd. Only one news camera seen and he wasn’t even set up.

Not something you see every day.

  • 2Hotel9

    Oop, there it is!

I would say I am amazed, but I’m not. The icing on the cake was the statement that it “…wasn’t family viewing.”

The facts? The facts are that “journalists” are supposed to report the news, not argue with random citizens and spew their personal political views. No wonder CNN is in a death spiral, along with ABC, CBS, and NBC. And NYT, SanFranChron, SeattleTimes, WaPo, etc etc.

It’s nice how all those overpaid hacks at CNN are comfortable enough with their tax shelters that they feel free to believe that we’re the only ones getting fleeced. The road Obama is headed down will remove their smiles soon enough. Like with the Nazis and Soviets, they will engage in round-robin backstabbing and selling each other out as the elite bastion pares itself ever further down.

your vulgarity is vulgar vulgarity (where the first one means ‘common, boring’ and the second means ‘expletives’). you should at least strive for 1) high-brow vulgarity or 2) excessively virulent or expletive ridden vulgarity. you just have commonplace, base vulgarity on offer here. “you chomp on dude’s dick” does not receive a passing score, or even close. its not legitimate. unethical.

    and its boring to watch.

  • http://suitepotato.blogspot.com/ sayanything-4808

Apple and the PC platform are a good example of liberal versus conservative politics. Like the Democrats, Apple once had a relatively more benign and less loopy base, and different ideas. The Apple II platform was open and encouraged thinking for one self. It encouraged self-reliance. It encouraged hacking.

But like the Democrats, Apple went hard left into fascist control freak holier than thou mindset. The Mac was one of the most closed hard to program for systems ever. Apple’s ideas were like those of Nintendo, in that they believed ONLY software they approved of should be used on their machines. This is of course insane. It’s your machine. It would be like RCA telling you which tapes you could watch on a VCR they made.

They made information as far from transparent as possible. Density sufficient to capture neutrinos comes to mind. They were also condescending, moving even during the last part of the Apple II platform’s lifetime to closing down documentation of the IIgs, and making BASIC, assembly, and even LOGO things of the past.

The Mac was authoritarian, tightly controlled, and completely condescending. Apple would choose what you ran, what you did, how you used it. Take this little one button mouse, go play because we said so.

The IBM platform was like the elitist Republicans of yesteryear. Big Blue tried to keep control, but just couldn’t do it. It was too good an idea to keep control of. Others wanted it. As with the change from stodgy old money to conservative do it for yourselfers, the IBM PC became the PC compatible became the Windows machine. Others came along and made it something better and more open and more widespread.

Windows wasn’t from party central. It was accessible, well documented, very open to messing with, and the people liked it. They like freedom and self-determination that way.

I like to think of the Bush administration as Vista. A mistake that has passed and the lesson has been learned. Obama is an iPod with no controls that only plays what it wants to play and you’ll shut up and listen to it and like it.

No thanks. I rather prefer my mp3s on my terms.
