CNN: “Angry” Rush Limbaugh “Crossed A Line”
How dare he speak out against The One’s plans for this country!
What’s sad is that the media is going to continue cherry-picking Rush’s bit about wanting Obama to fail, revisited in his speech, as evidence of Limbaugh wanting the nation as a whole to fail. Which isn’t what he’s saying at all. What he wants is for Obama to fail in his attempts to increase the burden of government in the country because he knows that such increased burden is a problem.
It’s a amazing to me how the media can continue to smugly and knowingly mischaracterize Rush’s comments even as Obama himself smugly refuses to acknowledge any of his predecessor’s success in Iraq.
Obama makes blatantly false assertions about a lack of earmarks in the “stimulus” bill, and misleading comments in a deficit he inherited from the Bush administration that he intends to cut by increasing it and nobody calls him on it. But Rush Limbaugh makes a perfectly understandable about wanting Obama to fail in his attempt to push this country toward socialism and it’s the subject of endless, almost coordinated criticism.
The bias has become so blatant, and so pervasive, as to almost be unnoticeable. Left-wing media bias almost isn’t unusual enough to be commented on any more. It is simply the status quo. No more noteworthy than the sky being blue. Tags: Asshats, Domestic Issues, Politics, The Loony Left
