Clinton Campaign Plants Questions

It’d be funny, if it weren’t so sleazy.  But then, “sleazy” is just what you come to expect with the Clintons.

DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) — Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign admitted late Friday that a staffer spoke to potential questioners at a recent event, but denied that the New York Democrat had any knowledge about what she would be asked by the audience.

Grinnell College’s “Scarlet and Black” newspaper reported a student’s account of being pulled aside before a campaign stop in Newton, Iowa and asked to pose a specific question.

“They were canned,” Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff claimed in an interview with the newspaper. “One of the senior staffers told me what [to ask].”

Here’s the account from the “Scarlet and Black” student newspaper:

On Tuesday Nov. 6, the Clinton campaign stopped at a biodiesel plant in Newton as part of a weeklong series of events to introduce her new energy plan. The event was clearly intended to be as much about the press as the Iowa voters in attendance, as a large press core helped fill the small venue. Reporters from many major national news outlets came to the small Iowa town, from such media giants as The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, and CNN.

After her speech, Clinton accepted questions. But according to Grinnell College student Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff ’10, some of the questions from the audience were planned in advance. “They were canned,” she said. Before the event began, a Clinton staff member approached Gallo-Chasanoff to ask a specific question after Clinton’s speech. “One of the senior staffers told me what [to ask],” she said.

Clinton called on Gallo-Chasanoff after her speech to ask a question: what Clinton would do to stop the effects of global warming. Clinton began her response by noting that young people often pose this question to her before delving into the benefits of her plan.

Why yes, Senator, I’m sure a lot of college students do ask you that question after they’ve been told to do so by your staffers.

By the way, the idea that Hillary didn’t know this was going on is a blatant lie.  Hillary herself was picking people from stage to ask questions, so she had to know to call on the people with canned questions.  And even if she was just “prompted” to pick on certain people by her staffers, as the article claims, I can’t imagine that Hillary is so stupid as to not know why she was getting those prompts.

Or maybe she is.  Either way, it doesn’t look good for Hillary.

It’s pretty hard to keep accepting the excuse of ignorance from someone who is being sold to us as “the smartest woman in the world”.  Besides, why would we want someone as President someone who doesn’t know what is going on in her own campaign?

No surprise there; the Clintons are one big charade, aided by their sycophants in the media.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — For the second time in as many days, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign has had to deal with accusations of planting questions during public appearances.

In a telephone interview Saturday with Fox News, Geoffrey Mitchell, 32, said he was approached by Clinton campaign worker Chris Hayler to ask a question about how she was standing up to President Bush on the question on funding the Iraq war and a troop withdrawal timeline.

If Hillary did not ‘salt’ questions throughout her audiences, how else would she know the topic to lie about? Simpkle, she’d just laugh that cackle and expect the audience to join in with his insanity!

Yes she had a question planted. She is such a sleazy person? I wish that was the worst thing we would have to worry about a republican doing. Look at all the problems we have had with them now and in the past. History is there and the republicans love to go back and rewrite it in their best perspective. There are only a few republican presidents that people can look back on in history and say he was a great president. The ones they had were long shots no one saw coming. The odds this happening are rare and history shows this to be true. The republican party will continue to diminish with the lack of polical ideas as more and more people realize that their policy’s only hurt people not help people.People will not vote for a canadate that thinks that they are dumb enough to believe their lies. Because of the pain that is caused by bad Republican decisions it has been a slap in the face to every American making that person stand up and get out and vote. The republicans have had “god” on their side and their actions are so hypocritical of christian values that they have thrown away their ace card. What great idea or dream will the republican party come up with in the future that will ignite the passion of all Americans?

There are only a few republican presidents that people can look back on in history and say he was a great president.

And there are only two great Democratic presidents: FDR and Truman.

And the worst Democratic presidents are so awful, they are the very worst to hold the office. Like Jimmy Carter and JEFFERSON DAVIS, for example.

Yeah, that’s right: the Democratic party is the party of the Confederacy, slavery, treason, Jim Crow, segregation, Tammany Hall, fraudulent elections (1960 comes to mind), Alger Hiss, Stagflation, Dan Rostenkowski, Monica Lewinsky . . . I could go on and on.

HILLARY THE LEFTIST PUPPET CANDIDATE

Lacking for a strong real candidate, the dominant Leftist Democrats have run Hillary. The problem is that she has long been observed to be emotionally and intellectually deficient.

Their clever solution is to systematically change her image; under the assumption that the American People are for the most part too simple minded to know the difference between realities and illusions.

To make the Hillary-puppet appear to be compassionate, meticulous studies are made of the social and economic needs of various social and economic goups, such as homosexuals and low income elderly voters. To see who does the research for the these emotional Hillary-puppet displays, Google: Mark Penn.

To make the Hillary-puppet appear to be mentally superior, questions must be planted and answers must be rigorously rehearsed. To see who does the research for these brilliant questions and answers, Google: Mark Penn.

The fatal flaw is that the small group of Leftist Democratic masterminds behind this Hillary-puppet Show are just not quite clever enough to successfully pull off their scam. Moral depravity and intellectual bankruptcy are their self-limiting handicaps.
