Civil Disobedience

From Reuters:

NEW YORK, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Police arrested at least two dozen activists on Tuesday during an all-day wave of acts of civil disobedience and other demonstrations to protest the Republican convention in New York...

Seventeen protesters were arrested for illegally blocking traffic on foot or on bicycles in the Wall Street financial district and six were taken into custody for illegally wearing masks at a Harlem subway station, police said.

Thanks for telling us these were acts of civil disobedience Reuters. Otherwise we would have thought they were just normal, thuggish protesters who beat up those they don't agree with and refuse to follow police direction.
