Citizens Against Government Waste: Obama Isn’t The Worst Senator On Waste, Biden Is

McCain has an 88% rating.  Good but not great.  Obama has an abysmal 18% rating, and his runningmate actually managed to score a zero.

That’s not change we can believe in.

Greg Jarrett, Fox: You focused on two things really as I understand it, earmarks, and we will get to it in a moment, but wasteful spending talk to us about how the candidates break down on this.

Tom Schatz, CAGW: There is a long track record in both cases, some of which goes to Senator Obama in the Illinois Legislature. We do not analyze the states. But just on the votes in 2007, Senator Obama voted correctly only 10% of the time, and Senator McCain voted 11 out of the 35 times. He did vote correctly every time. His lifetime rating 88% is the sixth-highest in the Senate. Senator Obama’s lifetime rating is 18% in the years that he has been a Senator. So there is a vast difference on the question of spending and taxes and those results are consistent with other analyses and organizations that track all of these various votes.

Jarrett: Is Obama at the bottom?

Schatz: He is not quite at that the bottom. Actually, Senator Biden is at the bottom. He has a zero rating in 2007. But Senator Obama is pretty close at 10%.

Jarrett: So Biden would be the most wasteful in your judgment, and again you are a non-partisan group, would be the most wasteful Senator?

Schatz: He wasn’t the only one. There were 13 Senators with a zero rating, but he was one of those that failed to vote a single time to cut waste or cut taxes are even preserve tax cuts.

Jarrett: And again, we are out of time, but John McCain, zero earmarks. Right?

Schatz: That is it. Zero.

Jarrett: Big goose egg. I mean that is amazing in Congress.

Schatz: It is difficult to say no, but he is one of the few who has.

So much for Obama/Biden being the reform ticket.

Since Biden is the architect of BORKING, it’s also fair to ask how much government money as been wasted in mean spirited confirmation hearings.

Are you really that ignorant…or just pretending to be? If you liberals are really this ignorant, Lord help us if your brainless boy wonder gets in office!

Bill Clinton’s administration started this mortgage mess through his social activist agenda, by putting political pressure on Government managed companies like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to lower credit requirements and standards so poor minorities could buy homes!

When he and his cronies on the hill (like Barnie “Fife” Frank) got thru, minorities didn’t even have to prove they had a job to get a loan…and they didn’t need good credit or any credit at all!...compounded with the greed of the Corporate yo-yos on Wall Street and Congressional thieves, of which your boy wonder Obama was a hefty participant…we now have an economic crisis imploding!

The liberal rags like New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Washington Post all reported about this in 1999. LA Times praised Clinton’s actions and the sudden surge in homeownership among minorities, calling it “one of the hidden success stories of the Clinton era.”

I guess you were still sucking a bottle then though and didn’t watch the news in 1999!...you need to do your homework bro!

Liberals may try to pin this Clintonian fasico on Bush…but intelligent people know better!

Sarah Palin is a very smart, down to earth and wonderful politician.  Obama seems to omit the truth whenever he is not stretching it. His self admitted drug habits, his self admitted terrorist ties, His self admitted ties to ACORN who is trying to fix this election, and his self admitted socialist views will change America from a great nation to a third world nation.  The bias in the news media is a testement to where we are going as a nation.  It is a good thing that Mccain will be our next president. The people trying to get him elected are the same people who want Al Franken elected.  I laugh at the idea, I scoff at Obama, and when all is said and done, I am sure he will play the race card once again.  I am not Joe the Plumber but Robert the Author.  Now boycott my books, burn them, stomp on them, but buy them first.
