40 years ago there was a march on the Pentagon and here we are 40 years later with a march on the Pentagon and another illegal and immoral war.
I don’t want to be marching when I’m 90 years old in 2047 in another illegal and immoral war.
Let’s stop this Bullsh*t, now!
Do you know why our countires get into these bullsh*t wars all of the time?
It’s for the corporations!
It’s for the corporations like Halliburton and Exxon and Blackwater and to make them rich.
It’s to line the pockets of George Bush and Dick Cheney and all the war criminals…
We’re here in the shadow of the war machine.
It’s like being in the shadow of the death star. (Huh?)
They take their death and destruction and they export it around the world.
We need to shut it down. We need to stop paying our taxes to fund this war.

When she talks of companies like Halliburton profiting from the war, I wonder if she knows that she’s calling far-left liberal uber-benefactor George Soros (who just happens to have extensive holdings in Halliburton) a war profiteer by extension?

I spent yesterday in Alabama. My wife’s mother is ill and doing poorly. I saw coverage on FNC, including quite a bit of video of a whole lot of large, crusty, grey-bearded veterans standing guard at the Wall. According to the Fox report there were no substantive confrontations, and no desecration of the Vietnam Memorial.

I just did a sweep of the morning shows, CBS,CNN,NBC and found ringing silence about the entire day. Other than Mother****ing Sheehan. Quick gloss over pieces and nothing more. Me thinks they doth remain silent aporpose, perhaps.

I have found very few stories on yesterday’s events, and only BBC and Xinhua mention the thousands of pro-America demonstrators at the Wall and throughout the Mall/Capital Building areas.

Why would that be?

The AP writeup is all I have found Stateside, and since I don’t watch any TV/Cable BS programs I really don’t get much about the march and Gathering of Eagles Rally. Any of y’all punishing yourselves by watching the talkingheadshows this morning. Help a brother out?

I would like to be compassionate and allow Sheehan to be a little bizzare, considering the loss of her son in war. Unfortunately, she and her son were not close and he volunteered for the military and Iraq, he was a patriot and a hero. So, when she protests this war she is protesting a war her son supported and wanting to deny other soldiers the economic, weapons, materials and emotional support that her own son would have needed.

I know more about this story than most, as Cindy lived just 11 miles from me when she started her anti war activities. She is standing upon the grave of her hero son to relive her Sixties, hippie, anti-Vietnam War protest days. A sad old woman that is trying to hold onto her youth and gain her 15 minutes of fame.

The harpy screeches again. She needn’t worry, though. If she and her leftie cronies have their way we will have surrendered to radical Islam by the time she’s 90 and they will have executed or imprisoned anybody who would protest anything.
