Cindy Sheehan Only Supports The Troops Who Hate Bush

Support the troops? I support only those who are NOT supporting the exploitation of the Iraqi people, and those who do not allow the war profiteers to carry on with their death and destruction all for the sake of an opulent lifestyle. I do not support those who are supporting a criminally insane and treacherous foreign policy. However I, as the mother of a slain soldier, will do anything I can to support all of them by working to shorten their stay in an unwelcoming country, and bring them home from the quagmire that their so- called commander in chief forced them into.

One can only conclude from this statement, then, that Cindy does not “support” her own son who re-enlisted for a second tour of duty with the military just as America was invading Iraq. Casey Sheehan could have gotten out of the military but didn’t because he wanted to go to Iraq and fight for his country.
His mother apparently thinks his decision was “criminally insane.” And it shows, I guess, in the fact that she refused to get her son a headstone for his grave.

Casey Sheehan could have gotten out of the military but didn’t because he wanted to go to Iraq and fight for his country.

No, I won’t ever forget about Casey, or Mike Mitchell, KIA with Casey; or Evan Ashcraft, KIA 7/24/2003; or John Torres, KIA 7/12/2004; or Chase Comely, KIA on 08/06/2005; Daniel Torres, KIA 2/04/2005; nor will I forget why I am trying to get our troops out of the predicament of colossal proportions that George Bush has gotten us into. I won’t forget the thousands of other wonderful Americans who have been needlessly killed here in the Gulf States and in Iraq for the crimes of BushCo. Nor will I ever forget the images of dead Iraqis burned by toxin of this war: white phosphorous; or the 7 month old baby with half of her head shot off by American troops; or the images of the Iraqi babies born with horrendous birth defects from left over depleted uranium from the first gulf war travesty. The images of the Bush destruction in the desert are horrifying in their brutality and we should all know that nothing good ever comes from killing innocent people.

Actually, a lot of reasoned debate happens here, just not by you and some of your buddies. Due to a lack of substance and intellectual rigor, you default to namecalling, and your last comment illustrates your abilities in that area quite nicely.
If you and your leftie buddies had pulled together with the rest of America, this war might not have even happened, so Saddam might just be happily murdering, raping and dismembering with Uday and Kusay as we speak. Or, you could have pulled together to win the war, and a lot fewer Iraqis and Americans would be dead, but your insane rage has blinded you to everything but itself, and so you seek to destroy everything out of a childish pique instead of seeing the big picture. But what do you expect from someone who uses namecalling in place of reason? At least you’re consistent.
