Churchill Advocates Terrorism

Ward Churchill, famous for referring to the 9/11 victims as "little Nazis," was caught on tape advocating for terrorism at a rally in Seattle.

Michelle Malkin has the details. Here's an excerpt from one of the tapes (emphasis added):

Question from audience: You mentioned a little bit ago, 'Why did it take a bunch of Arabs to do what you all should have done a long time ago,' that's my question.

And as a white man standing here in your midst from a fairly liberal/conservative/middle of the road background--ťand I tell people I'm so far left I'm coming up on the rigt--ťand I'd like you to respond to, why shouldn't we do something and how could we move so they don't see us coming?

Churchill: I'm gonna repeat that, tell me if I got that right: Why shouldn't we do something and how do you you move so they don't see you coming.

As to the first part, not a reason in the world that I could see. I can't find a single reason that you shouldn't in a principled way--ťthere may be some practical considerations, such as do you know how (laughter from audience)--ťyou know, often these things are processes. It's not just an impulse. And certainly it's not just an event. And the simple answer, although it probably should be more complicated, but I'm not being flip and giving the simple answer, is: You carry the weapon. That's how they don't see it coming.

You're the one"They talk about 'color blind or blind to your color.' You said it yourself.

You don't send the Black Liberation Army into Wall Street to conduct an action. You don't send the American Indian Movement into downtown Seattle to conduct an action. Who do you send? You. Your beard shaved, your hair cut close, and wearing a banker's suit.

There's probably a whole lot more to it, you know that. But there's where you start.

This man is a menace.

Reading the post “Churchill advocates terrorism” makes me feel like i’m about to puke.  How can so many people blindly take such speeches and so arrogantly quote them out of context?  People need to stop mindlessly consuming the headlines that are fed to them by the media and do a little research themselves.  If any of you people would actually READ AN ENTIRE ARTICLE written by this intelligent professor, you would see what he truly stands for.  Ward Churchill does not support terrorism (n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments) in the slightest.  Instead, he supports uncovering and stopping the “immiseration and mass death of millions of people” that the United States government has committed againt innocents.  The goal of his activism is to encourage the people of this country to fight (in a figurative sence, not literal) to reverse the status quo of America’s mass murders directly and indirectly of innocent people.  This message he is trying to spread is infact the opposite of terrorism.  Note: please refrain from childish namecalling and quoting out of context if you do decide to make a response.

Awesome!  Same feeling I had.

How can so many people blindly take such speeches and so arrogantly quote them out of context?

What was quoted out of context here?

If any of you people would actually READ AN ENTIRE ARTICLE written by this intelligent professor, you would see what he truly stands for.

He stands for Marxism and hating America.  We got it.  You can’t miss it.

Ward Churchill does not support terrorism (n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments) in the slightest.

Oh no.  He just gives it lip service and makes excuses for it.

Instead, he supports uncovering and stopping the “immiseration and mass death of millions of people that the United States government has committed againt innocents.

Uh huh.  Yeahsurewhatever.

The goal of his activism is to encourage the people of this country to fight (in a figurative sence, not literal) to reverse the status quo of America’s mass murders directly and indirectly of innocent people.

Apparently spreading freedom and democracy isn’t part of that activism.  This guy is a hypocrite and so are you for defending him.

This message he is trying to spread is infact the opposite of terrorism.

Well, whatever he is trying to do isn’t working.  All we see is a phony intellectual giving excuses for terrorism.

Note: please refrain from childish namecalling and quoting out of context if you do decide to make a response.

Just for saying this, I’m going to call you a shit-for-brains.
