Which is a better representative of the history and traditions of the United States? West Point and the Corps of Cadets (representing the United States Army) or a former half term Senator from one of the most corrupt political machines in the United States? Perhaps Chris stumbled over the truth after all.
As usual Mathews has it backwards. The military are not enemies of Obama. Obama and the dems are enemies of the military. As soon as he can, he will began dismantling the military to get more money for his marxist programs. Any person with 2 brain cells knows that is the goal of the dems because they have done it before again and again ad infinitum.
The cadets were undoubtedly showing a mixed reaction for a reason. They see a commander-in-chief less concerned about winning than he is about manipulating a mission they’re willing to dedicate their lives to for political considerations.
It is fools like Mathews that have tarnished what is left of journalism. An apology isn’t enough, Immelt should send him packing. He has no viewership anyway.

And even if it wasn’t I still wouldn’t accept Chris Matthews as an “objective” person. He’s almost sounds like he’s in love with Obama, “tingle up my leg” and so forth.
Matthews is another lefty talking head I’d like to have a fist fight with, right after I knock out Olberman’s front teeth.
Not only did obama not get a very warm welcome, but it seemed every time the camera pulled a shot of the cadets at least one of them was asleep or going into a nod. A moving speech read off the teleprompter in an “enemy camp.” BTW, is that camp short for “campaign?”
