Chris Matthews: It’s My Job To Make Obama A Success

We know, Chris. We know.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Yeah, well, you know what? I want to do everything I can to make this thing work, this new presidency work, and I think that –
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Is that your job? You just talked about being a journalist!
MATTHEWS: Yeah, it is my job. My job is to help this country.

It’s your job, Matthews, to bring Americans objective information about our political leaders.
At least it was before the media gave up any pretense of being objective.

    Matthews is a disgrace as a “journalist”. Clearly his ego is completely out of control. His job is to “help this country”. He can start by shutting his yap and reporting facts and not Op-Ed pieces disguised as news. Maybe he is vying for Press Secretary in the Obama Administration?

    I saw that and just couldn’t believe it. Having a bias is bad enough, but saying you are in the tank… wow. What happened to fair reporting? Traditional media wonders why people aren’t coming to just them (ie blogs etc) for news anymore… I don’t think there could be an example more clear than that.

    Nice case of objectivity. Good to know that they’ll be reporting fairly on our next president. Pravda would be proud.

    By the way, Chris….knee pads can be purchased at Home Depot. Maybe MSNBC will buy them for you. based on the statement you just made, if you damage those knees while worshipping Obama it would have to considered a work related injury.
