China To Sharon Stone: Shut Up, Fool
Sharon Stone, another of the many Hollywood clowns who think that because they make movies their political insight and wisdom is something we should all worship has seriously offended the Chinese with her idiotic statements about the massive earthquake there.
Her babbling statement basically said that the earthquake was “karma” for the way the Chinese have treated the Tibetans:
“All these earthquakes and stuff happened and I thought, “Is that karma?” When you are not nice, bad things happen to you. I’m not happy about how the Chinese are treating the Tibetans, I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. They’re not being very nice to the Dali Lama, who’s a good friend of mine,” she said.
Try telling that to the thousands killed or who are still buried under the rubble or who lost what little they had and who are now hungry, with the theat of disease hanging over them like an ugly cloud. My disdain for the Hollywood types and their self righteous political posturing just got a little deeper after hearing her dribble out her opinions.
Obviously, that sentiment is shared by the Chinese, and not just the Chinese government:
“This actress does not deserve our attention. The best way is to ignore her. I will never watch her films in future,” said thesp Liu Wei, while fellow actor Lu Qilong accused Stone of lacking respect.
“Sharon Stone’s remarks made all Chinese people and the world shocked and angry. She does not respect the Chinese people, as well as people’s lives. Sichuan’s earthquake affects everyone’s heart,” said Lu.
“The earthquake is not only China’s disaster, but a disaster for all of mankind. Sharon Stone’s performance shows that not only does she lack love, but she lacks humanity? How could she say such things!” said thesp Tong Dawei.
To blithely say that a disaster of such magnitude is “karma” shows just how stupid she truly is, along with many of her Hollywood cronies who decry the desperate situation of mankind from the liberal bubbles of their mega-mansions. Someone who is more famous for spreading her legs in a movie than for any of her humanitairian efforts should probably be more careful with her remarks.
But that’s just my opinion, of course.
