Chambliss: Palin Won Me The Election

You can say that he was probably going to win anyway, but he certainly seems to have appreciated the help.


The question remains: Why didn’t Obama head down to Georgia to help out Martin? By all appearances The One’s absence from the ballot had a pretty tragic impact on Martin’s vote tally. Some will say that Obama just didn’t want to hitch himself to a losing cause (Chambliss did almost win in the original election) but I still think it’s because Democrats don’t really want a filibuster-proof majority.

    When Clinton went out after the election to help with a run off, a lot of people weren't happy about it. This was smart of O. He is trying to look bipartisan now, so to go back in time and start the election bashing would have been a bad idea. I also never thought he wanted 60 seats anyway. He will be better off with the filibuster. Then if he wants scapegoats for not getting stuff passed that say, the far left wants, and he knows is not going to be good for his presidency, he can pass the buck. I have always said he was savvy and he will look out for himself.

    You idiots act like he won a Senate seat in California or something. Last I checked, Georgia was in the white trash south that rarely elects a democrat. His win was expected. The fact that it was close was not, though.

    More impressive by far is Obama's wins in Indiana, North Carolina and Virginia. Those are brainstem states that apparently had enough in-migration of people with frontal lobe activity to have the good sense NOT to vote for the corrupt, scandal-plagued, economy-destroying republicans.

    North Carolina is more impressive??? Please explain the difference between N. Carolia and Georgia that makes it so much more impressive. I am laughing very hard, you just can't see how stupid that statement was. And Georgia is "white trash?" Hmmm. How is that exactly? I guess all those thousands of gays here are inferior to those other gays around the country. Now you are trashing your own people. HaHaHa. I don't think you have ever spent time in either GA,N.Carolina or VA. You are so full of shit, you have no idea about anything besides your little corner of the world.
