Castro Endorses Hillary/Obama Ticket For 2008

Meaning that Democrat Presidential candidates have garnered support from 100% of socialist dictators oppressing Caribbean island-nations.

HAVANA (Reuters) – Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro is tipping Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to team up and win the U.S. presidential election.
Clinton leads Obama in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the November 2008 election, and Castro said they would make a winning combination.
“The word today is that an apparently unbeatable ticket could be Hillary for president and Obama as her running mate,” he wrote in an editorial column on U.S. presidents published on Tuesday by Cuba’s Communist Party newspaper, Granma.

I know pointing out Castro’s support for Hillary/Obama will likely tick off a lot of Democrat readers, but I’d point out that people like Hillary can’t go around talking about using government to redistribute wealth and nationalize private industry without garnering some admiration from the socialist dictators of the world.
If Hillary or Obama don’t want Castro’s support then they should stop advocating for the policies Castro favors. It’s as simple as that.

    Was that before or after he went all Michael Moore on Bush for reading to the little kiddies while his minions (oops, I’m sorry) Freedom Fighters slaughtered innocent men women and children in NYC and DC? His endorsement was hedged in even more Democrat electioneering because he pulled out the old bullshit line about how “Fighting us just causes more of us to rally to our cause so you’d be wise not to fight us”. As if. The jihadists up to and including Osama have advocated a partnership w the left for many years. They know useful idiots when they read them on the front page of the NY Times.

    They’ll use it as a talking-point as to how they will improve realtions with the rest of the world (well at least with Castro, Chavez, and the other dictators/tyrants around the world).
