Captain America Hates The Tea Parties

Sigh…

Since 1941, Captain America has been one of the most popular comic book characters around. The fictional super-patriot fought Nazis during World War II, took on those who burned the American flag during the Vietnam era, and raked in hundreds of millions of dollars for Marvel Comics along the way. Now, the appearance that he is taking on the Tea Party Movement in a storyline about investigating white supremacists has forced Marvel to apologize for the comic hero.
Issue 602 of the comic features Captain America investigating a right-wing anti-government militia group called “the Watchdogs”. Hoping to infiltrate the group, Captain America and his African-American sidekick The Falcon observe an anti-tax protest from a rooftop. The protestors depicted are all white and carry signs adorned with slogans almost identical to those seen today in Tea Party rallies like “tea bag libs before they tea bag you” and “stop the socialists.”
The Falcon mentions that the gathering appears to be “some kind of anti-tax protest” and notes that “this whole ‘hate the government’ vibe isn’t limited to the Watchdogs.” He then tells Captain America that he doesn’t think their plan will work because “I don’t exactly see a black man from Harlem fitting in with a bunch of angry white folks.” Captain America then explains that his plan entails sending The Falcon in among the group posing as an IRS agent under the thinking that a black government official will most certainly spark their anger.

You can see the panels in question from the comic here.
At some point the anti-tea party folks are going to have to realize that the more they attack and deride the tea parties the more the tea parties are going to be a success.
Maybe, instead of attacking, they should try listening for a change.

Stormfront Neo- nazis hate Captain America

“Re: Captain America Plans to Infiltrate “Racist” Tea Party Movement
Stan Lee, a jew, has always used C.A. for his own pro Hassidic propaganda.
This is nothing new-it’s just so recently relevant, it got everyone’s attention. ”

‘Captain America was born in the minds of two jews and, like
everything else they create, is ultimately anti-White.
CaptainIntolerance is who Whitey needs to help “right the ship”.”

It’s seems the Falcon is out of touch at well. The only documented violence at a Tea Party protest was four white guys, in purple SIEU t-shirts, beating up a black guy for leaving the liberal plantation and attending the protest. They put him in the hospital with the injuries sustained during the liberal “smack down” beating.

The “talking points” for democrats including trying to paint the Tea Party protesters as “racist.” That appears to be a serious case of projection.

Art imitates life. The truth is stranger than fiction.

“Stormfront Neo- nazis hate Captain America”? I thought they liked to be called the Tea Party Revolution, or just GOP, for short.

I *think* I read that they were pulling this, but amazing how many attacks against “astroturf” isn’t it?

Did you know there is going to be a Tea Party in Williston on Sunday?

BIG ad in the weekly paper(not the Herald).

    Paul Sorum-ND Senatorial Candidate
    Gary Sukut-District 1 Legislative Incumbent
    2 Williston mayoral candidates

I think they will all face really tough questions.

I hate this because CA is one of my favorite comic heroes; but this is classic liberal projection of his own racism onto others. Capt is a 1940’s holdover, from a more racist time especially for the Democrat Party. The old “some of my best friends are colored” line comes to mind when you mention the falcon.

Marvel Comics’ editorial and writing staff are overwhelmingly products of university liberal arts culture which is and has been dominated by the left for decades for no reason so much as that liberal arts is an entirely theoretical area in almost every case, which doesn’t have to be backed up with good solid factual evidence and logical rationales that hold up to scrutiny and can face healthy debate.

Socialism fails every single time, never mind Communism, and that doesn’t matter to people who simply choose something to believe arbitrarily without any reason or justification.
