Here’s my interview with North Dakota Treasurer Kelly Schmidt, who is seeking the NDGOP nomination for a third term in office this weekend.

During the interview Schmidt responds to criticism she’s already facing from Democrats over management of state investment funds (criticism she faced the last time she was up for re-election too), but also made this interesting comment: Despite the state’s rapid economic growth, she’s actually reduced her office’s expenses significantly.

According to Schmidt, she’s doing more for less.
