Guess what you’ll never see in the media? That Canada is kicking our tookus economically. They have the soundest banks in the world by virtue of never having made them make home loans to deadbeats. They are cutting government spending, keeping tax rates low, moving away from their nationalized healthcare model, signing free trade agreements, and drilling drilling drilling for bountiful beauteous hydrocarbons. And they maintain sound money. You can look at almost any economic metric and we’d be so lucky as to be performing as good as Canada is right now. It is all reflected in the strength of the Loonie, Canada is an attractive place to invest and do business (especially out West where it is solid “blue”, which is Canadian for “red” here in America).
