Can Obama’s Campaign Be Destroyed By One 52 Second Video?

If video of Obama’s pastor and mentor of twenty years screaming “God damn America” can’t do Obama in this video isn’t likely to do it either, but it does make him look like the short-sighted, politically blinkered oaf he is on foreign policy.


With the war in Iraq all but won and eastern European nations begging for our protection from newly-empowered Russia with imperialist aspirations Obama’s promises to “end the war” immediately and slow future weapons developments look particularly foolhardy.

    First he says:

    “I am the only major Candidate to opposed this war from the beginning and, as President, I will end it.”

    With the intended implication that he was there to vote on it; he wasn’t.

    Oh, hell yes it can….and will be!

    A general election is a very different phenomenon from a primary. Being anti-war and so antimilitary that he is willing to embrace a “no nukes” policy.

    Obama was risking a strategy that would sell well in the primaries but cost him in the general election. Now he’s boxed in.

    A vote for Obama is a vote to leave the United States Of America undefended in the nuclear age.

    Let’s be honest (I know that’s a Pollyanna wish) but in any other time in American political history, the campaign of THE ONE would have never passed first base…or even been on the field…or ever left the dugout.

    But in 2008. it seems you can not only exercise your American freedom to be anti-American…you can also be the nominee of the Democrat Party.

    Actually; the Rev. Wright Debacle gave me all I felt I needed to know about Obama. Anyone who would allow his children, and others children to suffer that hate filled indoctrination for over 20 years should not be “propped” up for a run at the Pesidency..
    The fact that Obama “mouths” off about weakening the U.S. military defense at a time when there are literally “Millions” out there who want every single one of us DEAD.. is beyond any political, or moral redemption..

    Politics is almost as much about image as Hollywood is these days.

    The famous saying is that if FDR campaigned today he wouldn’t get elected because of his disability (in his day he got elected 4 times). With Obama that point has never been more clear. He’s all image and no substance but he’s still competitive.

    Because image is that important.
