Camera Crew Attacked After Attempting News Report On Muslim Madrassa

But this didn’t happen in Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan but rather in Minnesota.

Troubling to say the least.  I’m all for being tolerant of other cultures and religions, but Muslims are going to have to learn that freedom means freedom in America.  That means that not only are you generally free to do as you please within the confines of our laws but you also must tolerate others doing as they please.  Up to and including criticizing you and your beliefs/culture.

That’s not very “PC” by modern standards, but that is the principle upon which this country was founded.

Wow, who do they think they are; teacher labor union bosses?

There is no reason this school should be recieving ONE dime of public money from the state. Shut it down if this is a public school it is open to the press.

Unbelievable, taxpayer-funded madrasas in charter schools.
Apparently, Jefferson’s “wall of separation” has an exemption for Islam?
Why?

no this is the charter/private school program you all want.  Parent being given scholarships to send their children to a school of their choice.  Why in the world is the state interfering with choice?

Puzzlefeet on May 19, 2008 at 09:10 pm

Minnesota has a lot going on with the muslim community. Those Minnesotan’s have any ties with London England? Is this were Ken Livingston moved to?
I don’t see this type of behavior going away real soon. The extreme Muslim’s do not want to enter the American culture. I did read an article recently how one Muslim community has spoken out. Refusing to bury a Muslim in their cemetery because of his acts of violence. We can only hope for more of this from the Muslim community.

Puzzlefeet said, Why in the world is the state interfering with choice?

Note to other readers: this woman is a union member who is against “right to work” laws (aka against the worker’s freedom of association) and is a supporter of the reality-inverted “Employee Free Choice Act”, also known as “card check”, which is nothing more than a doing-away with of secret balloting concerning union membership.

Savor the irony.

The upside-downer “liberals” are good at telling us one thing, and then doing the exact opposite.

Oh lord.  Now they are “anti-American”.  Only a winger could say something so profoundly stupid.  Congrats.

Oh boy, no-where else in the world is a camera man attacked for filming children.....on a private school no less.

http://www.independentmail.com/news/2008/mar/11/wspa-news-channel-7-reporter-attacked-murder-scene/

UNION — Four people were arrested Tuesday after an attack on a News Channel 7 reporter and a photographer. Reporter Charmayne Brown and photographer Ti Barnes were covering the scene of a homicide investigation in Union when the attack occurred, according to a WSPA News Channel 7 report.

The guy was clearly interviewed.  Who knows if he already gave them strict orders not to film the children.  This is only 1/8th of the story I am sure.

But go ahead an make an argument before knowing all the facts Rob.  It’s what you do best.

Also, this sort of thing never happens in our country.  It’s all the Muslims fault.

He has no right to tell anyone they cannot film the children, standing outdoors in public.

Nor does he have the right to commit battery against a cameraman.

But go ahead an make an argument before knowing all the facts Rob.  It’s what you do best.

The report speaks for itself. All Rob did was point out that the type of thuggery so prevalent in the Muslim world when it comes to religious indoctrination has now, incredibly, come to the United States.

You know, the kind of thuggery that ended in the deaths of a hundred or so people at the Red Mosque in Islamabad.

Thats true but if his concern is for the children’s safety, as it is possible intolerant Americans can lash out, I think that is markedly different than standard “thuggery”.

Nor does he have the right to commit battery against a cameraman.

Again, true, but how do you know he “battered” the camera man instead of hurting him because he might have been wrestling the camera away from the cameraman as stated in the video?

You sound like you are looking for an excuse to whine about a moronic incident.  This happens all the time.  This isn’t muslim thuggery as much as it is standard American reaction to overuse of cameras being stuck in peoples faces.

You are clearly using this incident as an excuse to beat Muslims over the head.

Oh bruther Ken!!!  You have got to be kidding me with this!  Are you serious?

Are you going to tell me that people in America don’t wrestle cameras out of the hands of cameramen?  Are you seriously going to sit here and pretend to be surprised at a reaction like this, and then pretend that this is some sort of new phenomenon brought to us courtesy of the Muslims?

Give me a f-ing break.  Did you even click on any of the links I provided?

You know, the kind of thuggery that ended in the deaths of a hundred or so people at the Red Mosque in Islamabad.

Sheer hyperbole.  You and Rob are merely looking for an excuse to instigate hatred towards Muslims.

Since when is reporting an incident “instigating hatred”?
They report on your retardedness every time you show up, but that doesn’t mean they’re instigating hatred toward every retarded surfer wannabee!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

When the reporting becomes less about facts, and more about hyperbole.

I recommend you start the day off with caffeine.  Clearly you need some sort of stimulant.

Please point out the “instigation of hatred” in the following (complete) post from Rob:

Pay particular attention, oh Kahuna of the Kiddie Pool to this statement:

I’m all for being tolerant of other cultures and religions

Please parse how “all for being tolerant” becomes “instigation of hatred” anywhere other than the fever swamps of Hannitized’s tiny little brain?
Please feel free to use bigger words than you currently understand.

Honey-baby, you missed something very basic.  Allow me to provide some clarity that will surely boggle your mind as it is not open to consideration, but instead filled with pre-determined conclusions.

But this didn’t happen in Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan but rather in Minnesota.

First, this sort of hyperbole instigates hatred seen by many of the commenters.

Second it implies that the incident is something that only happens in countries where we fight our enemies.

Rob ignores the reality that cameramen are attacked constantly in America, by Americans.

His audience took the poisoned food and ingested this propaganda and spin, as average sheep do.

You can pretend this isn’t the case, I don’t care.  I never once expected you to get it.  You are incapable of “getting it”.  It’s why a debate with you isn’t actually a debate, but rather opportunities to show the terrible and faulty logic from my friends on the right.

Behold, the result of yelling fire in a movie theatre.

You are a shining example of ignorance and intolerance Hotel.

Now, allow me to make clear that I am against prayer in school and I think it is fair to raise questions.  Now I don’t expect my friends on the right to be principled enough to admit that they want prayer in school, the only problem is they only want prayers for Christians, not Muslims.

I love to watch Republicans spin themselves silly.

Ok, but what does that have to do with this post or school?  Where did you get information to come to that conclusion about this school?  If that is the conclusion you came to.  You seem to have leaped off a cliff to have landed on this crazed conclusion.

Hannitized on May 20, 2008 at 02:13 pm

O. K.  I will type slowly so you can comprehend. Madrases teaching that America is evil are anti-American.

Also, it is not incumbent upon me to prove anything. It is their responsibility to prove to American’s(all of us) that they are not doing so. I understand that all that meth you do fucks up your thinking, so either backoff the pipe or buy a clue.

Let me guess...you thought the Da Vinci code was marvelous history, because it revealed things there was no evidence for that no one else had ever uncovered?
