Call In Tonight: The Say Anything Show, “Open Phones Saturday” Edition

ON TONIGHT’S SHOW: Rep. Barney Frank wants to legalize marijuana, saying the government has no business criminalizing bad choices. Is he right? Also, unemployment has hit a record high in twelve states across the nation. When is Obama going to get it? And more on nationalized health care. Obama says his “government option” won’t lead to nationalized health care, yet his fellow Democrats keep saying it will. Why can’t Obama just tell us the truth? And, as always, your calls.

Put those two sentences together. Nobody should regulate someone’s personal choices, especially the federal government. Marijuana should be treated as alcohol. Then, whoa, look at that, tax revenue, less money spent on criminalizing pot users, more jobs created on opening dispensaries (which would keep kids away with age restrictions and because dealers wouldn’t be able to compete with legal sales) and selling hemp related textiles and goods, reduction of the drug cartels making the Mexican border safer.
