Bush Links Democrats To Code Pink/MoveOn.org?

In an article about Hillary’s reaction to Bush’s speech in which he compared the Democrats’ stance on the war on terror to the world ignoring Lenin’s push for communist revolution in Russia, and Hitler’s threats against the world in Germany, CNN also accused the President of “linking” Democrats to Code Pink and MoveOn.org.

In the same speech, Bush also linked Congressional Democrats to the liberal group MoveOn.org and the anti-war group Code Pink.
“When it comes to funding our troops, some in Washington should spend more time responding to the warnings of terrorists like Osama bin Laden and the requests of our commanders on the ground,” Bush said, “and less time responding to the demands of MoveOn.org bloggers and Code Pink protesters.”

The thing is that it isn’t the President who linked the Democrats to Code Pink and MoveOn.org. It’s the Democrats themselves who did that by having daily strategy and coordination meetings with MoveOn and giving Code Pink protesters to government events (like the President’s inauguration and State of the Union speeches) so they can disrupt.
It’s not like the President is casting baseless aspersions at the Democrats. Their links with MoveOn and Code Pink are extensive and well-documented, and there’s nothing wrong with the President pointing those things out. That liberals are apparently embarrassed by that fact is both telling and irrelevant.

Code Pink: The “code” is that pink is a pale version of “red“.

    So what?

In the meantime, The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed HR 1955 titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. This bill is one of the most blatant attacks against the Constitution yet and actually defines thought crimes as homegrown terrorism. If passed into law, it will also establish a commission and a Center of Excellence to study and defeat so called thought criminals. Unlike previous anti-terror legislation, this bill specifically targets the civilian population of the United States and uses vague language to define homegrown terrorism. Amazingly, 404 of our elected representatives from both the Democrat and Republican parties voted in favor of this bill. There is little doubt that this bill is specifically targeting the growing patriot community that is demanding the restoration of the Constitution. This means that you could be arrested for being a Ron Paul supporter.

ews, your Party, the Democrat Party, is who put this lovely piece of crap forward. With the prodding of their auxiliary political wings, CodePink and Moveon.Soros. Good job, stupid.

ews, so terrorism as a “thought crime” is scary, but any other sort of perceived “thought crime” is okay? What a joke. It’s the liberals who even brought the idea of a “thought crime” into our lexicon.

I get lambasted all the time for pointing out who these liberal groups are affiliated with and who supports them. It’s funny how they’re all ashamed of each other, and pointing out that they’re associated with each other is yet another liberal “thought crime…”
