Bush Booed At Washington National’s Home Opener

Really, though, what’s more surprising?  That Bush was booed at a public event in one of the most liberal cities in America, Washington DC, or that there were enough people at a Nationals game to boo loud enough for it to register during a television broadcast?

It was Obama’s fault.  He asked Republicans to pose as Liberals to boo the president.

Also, none of these people will be voting in the General Election.  So McCain is a shoe-in.

It isn’t necessary for a “progressive” to lobby other “progressives” to boo at someone with whom they have disagreements.

Just try to listen to a conservative (or simply a well reasoned moderate) public speaker at an American university. The “progressives” will be booing, hissing, and possibly screaming through the entire lecture.

Such is the state of manners and willingness to listen to the point of views of others among America’s left.

That Bush was at a public event , that’s surprising.

Doesn’t get out of the bubble except for appearances with staged audiences.

It was so funny to be surrounded my so many fans of the Nats, once again Booing there own president.

While I didn’t boo, I laughed in agreement with the ‘mob’.  We all boo’d him at RFK too.

Great game though. 2 outs, bottom of the 9th....walk off home-run season/stadium opener. Nats win

Typical class act by the morons of D.C.  Either cheer or just shut up.

I hope you jerks finish last and frankly I wish the Nats had stayed in Canada.

No, but what you said was insanely stupid too.

Classy.

The President, I mean.

His booing enemies are anything but.

Opening night of a brand new season. There were lots of fans there.

Otherwise, eh. Don’t boo, it’s bad sportsmanship, and remove your hat for the national anthem are lost in the mists of a simpler, poorer time.

Opening night of a brand new season

In a brand new park! I’m sure there were lots of folks there that weren’t even baseball fans!

Those who think the party or the country, will be “taught a lesson” by handing the levers of power over to the liberals will learn a lesson, but it will be at the expense of our country and her liberties. And there are no guarantees that the party or the country will come out stronger, more conservative or better positioned to win elections against the incumbent liberals.

Not removing your hat is a new symbol of patriotism under the DNC rules and regs.

Very good Kenny...now you get a biscuit.  For THAT was the point.  It is isanely stupid for you idiots to blame McCains nomination on the Dems.

You have noone to blame but yourself.

So it’s all good.

The only thing that was truly stupid was your knee-jerk response to my comment.  Having been caught off guard your defense is to punch your opponent in the nose.

In a thread about Bush at a ballgame? It looked to me like you were trying to make a lame joke that fell flat. So, I agree with Kenny: Insanely stupid.

“A lame joke that fell flat”...sounds like your history here, Han-job! smile

Not with you, Han-job! ‘Cause then, we’d have to wipe all that snot off our hands! smile

Hey Proof, don’t let the “electronic door” hit you in the ass on the way out.  Remember that gem?

And look at the meaningful comment/argument you made.  It’s almost as if your purpose here is to be nothing more than a dip-shit who cries when his Skipper is put in place?  Strange that.

Note to the humor impaired: I was not making a joke there, Han-job, I was paraphrasing an old saying. If you had any sense of humor, you might be able to tell the difference! (I think we’re back in “miracle” country here!) smile

Proof, are you attempting to make sense again?

I notice you really don’t have the courage to stick to the subject on this thread.

Is it because it is too painful for you to realize that your precious President is not really liked so much?

Han-job! You really need to put “April Fool’s” after your pathetic attempts at joking. You’re really not good at it! smile

I should get upset that there were Democrats in a crowd in Washington D.C.? Stop the presses! /sarcasm
That they were classless enough to boo the man in a non-partisan function? Han-job...they’re Democrats! We don’t expect much from them in social graces! (Much like we don’t expect much from you! You ARE a Democrat, aren’t you? I’ve asked you several times, even though I know it must be an embarrassment to you!) smile
Stick to your guns! Stonewalling comes naturally to people with something to hide! smile
(Maybe, if you come out, you could admit that you’re a liberal too, fascist!)

Indignant Gilligan,

Did you scan their voter ID cards when they went in?  How exactly do you know this?

Do you often use logic before you speak?  I suppose when his approval rating was down to 20 something I suppose the other 80% could not be found at the time?

Han-job! You really are too stupid to breed! Washington D.C. is a company town. And the company is government! If you weren’t born yesterday, you would know that the country is split pretty evenly along Democrat/Republican part lines. In any large gathering except maybe National Right to Life (predominantly Republicans) or the KKK (predominantly Democrats) I would expect the crowds to be around fifty-fifty.
Washington D.C., though, has many more registered Democrats per capita than most major cities. (All them bureaucrats, don’tcha know?)

But after posting the asinine :

It was Obama’s fault.  He asked Republicans to pose as Liberals to boo the president.

you want to ask me if I checked their ID cards?

What are you? Six??? Grow the hell up, fascist
