Bryant Gumble Will No Longer Be Doing Play-By-Play For The NFL

Great news.

The NFL Network said Friday it was looking for a new play-by-play announcer to work with Cris Collinsworth on the network’s Thursday and Saturday night games.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to call NFL Network games the past two years, which was a new experience for me,” Gumbel said in a statement. “But we’ve agreed that we’d all be better served going in different directions.”

I never thought a sportscaster would ever annoy me as much as Joe Buck does, but Gumble managed to take the cake.

    I would be happy if NBC would get rid of Keith Olberman on Sunday Night Football. That guy sucks at sports and political commentary.

    I’m glad Bryant had fun. I’m sure noone listening did. He was so flippin’ un-fun. They can take Chris Collinsworth away too for all I care. I can’t stand him and his stupid Bengals homer crap.
