British Prime Minister To Ask Obama To Take The Stimulus International

Because it’s not just America that needs to be saved by more government spending. It’s the whole world.

GORDON BROWN hopes to forge a partnership with President Barack Obama in Washington this week, to call for a “global new deal” to lift the world out of recession.
As he prepares for his first White House visit since the president’s inauguration, the prime minister has hinted that he is ready to make further tax cuts to boost the UK economy.
Brown will meet Obama on Tuesday and address a joint session of Congress on Wednesday. Aides say he has both to demonstrate to a sceptical British public that he commands the respect of the president, and to persuade the American political establishment that global action is needed to rescue the US economy.
Brown is under pressure to persuade American political leaders to sign up to bold aims for the G20 summit of industrial and leading developing nations, which is to be held in London next month.
Many US politicians believe economic policy should put America first, and have shown little interest in concerted global action. Brown will argue for a renewal of the transatlantic relationship, with the two powers working together to solve global economic problems.
The prime minister will borrow from the rhetoric of Franklin Roosevelt, who introduced the government-financed New Deal to tackle the US Depression of the 1930s. He will argue that his 21st century “global new deal” will also require public spending on a huge world-wide scale.

America can’t afford the domestic “new deal” spending Obama has already put into place, let alone spending on a global scale.
But what will be interesting to see is if Obama will glom onto this idea from Brown. Now that he’s signed a mountain of spending into law – including the single largest spending bill this country has ever seen – Obama is making mouth noises about fiscal responsibility and cutting the deficit. It’s already been pointed out that Obama’s math on cutting the budget doesn’t add up, and it especially won’t add up if The One joins Prime Minister Brown in a global crusade to employ the masses and save the environment through piles and piles of spending.

Seems to me the U.S. did what Gordy is asking for right after WWII, and has been shit upon by the Europeans since. I doubt, but maybe Obama has learned something from history and won’t repeat the mistake.

    memo to GORDON BROWN:

Send us your money and well talk about it.

maybe Obama has learned something from history and won’t repeat the mistake.

Obama is an arrogant ass who is too busy making history to take any lessons from it, thus he is bound to repeat mistakes that have already been made. The only problem is he is going to drag the rest of us down with him. The man is a total buffoon.

hes really in a tough spot…. the eu is having to support all their weak links and they dont want to do it along. the brits are too closely tied to them.

This stinks of George Soros and his World Without Borders Globalist Agenda. Soros is the Shadow President pulling Obama’s strings. Obama can’t even speak without a teleprompter. He is just George Soros’ sock puppet.

Surprise, surprise. Does this mean that we get to look forward to Shariah law like the Brits under their pathetic leadership? If they didn’t need the US to be onboard, then they’d just do it without us. On the other hand, just as with the goal of their climate change alarmism lie, US business MUST be cut off at the knees or sufficiently internationally disperse for their plan to work. Internationally dispersed means that we lose our freedom to live, work, and speak according to our conscience. Think of all the bullying that the EU is guilty of in pressuring countries to abandon their heritage, values and work ethics in order to tow the Godless EU line. Think of all the anti-Semitic pressure that the UN is guilty of in abusing their international position. I can’t imagine why Obama wouldn’t be onboard given his disdain for America and Israel. The official meeting is most likely for photo ops to introduce that which they’ve already decided.

The world is looking for and ready to embrace a global Messiah and one with high favorability among liberals, socialists, communists and Muslims seems the best candidate. To paraphrase Hank Williams Jr, “America, are you ready for some one-world government?”

what will be interesting to see is if Obama will glom onto this idea from Brown

    How could a Messiah refuse?
