British Court Determines A Woman Not Intelligent Enough To Keep Her Child

This is what happens when we abdicate responsibility for our lives to the government.

A MOTHER is taking her fight to the European Court of Human Rights after she was forbidden from seeing her three-year-old daughter because she is not “clever enough” to look after her.
The woman, who for legal reasons can be identified only by her first name, Rachel, has been told by a family court that her daughter will be placed with adoptive parents within the next three months, and she will then be barred from further contact.
The adoption is going ahead despite the declaration by a psychiatrist that Rachel, 24, has no learning difficulties and “good literacy and numeracy and [that] her general intellectual abilities appear to be within the normal range”.
Her daughter, K, was born prematurely and officials felt Rachel lacked the intelligence to cope with her complex medical needs Baby K was released from hospital into care and is currently with a foster family. Her health has now improved to the point where she needs little or no day-to-day medical care.

Big government always knows best.
I understand that there are situations wherein a child needs to be removed from his/her parents in order to protect that child’s welfare and rights. That being said, the government as usual abuses its power and attempts to usurp parents in their children’s lives.
It’s why we parents need to take responsibility for raising our children, instead of abdicating that responsibility to teachers and lawyers and social workers.

there is a VAST difference between danger/ threat and not as ‘smart’ as the government might like. if this happens here, most liberal runs cities that will have kids with no biological parents in the home.

Being an optimist, I always look for the silver lining. Should that type of medical practice come to the U.S., maybe it would keep people like Dino from reproducing.

The only question is, who is buying this baby? Money is changing hands behind closed doors, with the complicity of the courts and NHS.
