Breaking: In A Show Of Good Will Sarah Palin Brings Dems To Alaska

Always on top of breaking events, Pam Geller over at Atlas Shrugs is reporting that Sarah Palin is bringing top Democrats to Alaska in a good will gesture to restore civility:

It is time to repair friendships with the other party.
Gov. Sarah Palin is doing her part.
The rest of the world cannot understand how, after bitter election campaigns, American politicians can kiss and make up.
For instance, Gov. Palin has invited, to her great state of Alaska , the men who defeated her, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, along with their wives. She has set up a moose hunting trip for their enjoyment and hired three prominent experts in their field to assist them.
Dick Cheney will carry the gun, Ted Kennedy will drive them back to their cabins each evening, and Bill Clinton will entertain their wives.
Sarah is such a good sport! She thinks of everything!

What a girl that Sarah is! Can’t you just feel the love? Sort makes you warm all over, doesn’t it?

    I dunno Pilgrim. Why is making fun of Clinton and Kennedy OK, but not making fun of Palin?

    Had she made the joke that Sarah set up a wolf hunting expedition by helicopter, I would agree it's humor.

    But they didn't pick on her, only the dudes.

    Let's see, little H: Kennedy drowned Mary Jo in a drunken revel, and Clinton lied to the American public, as well as his wife and daughter, whom he used as props, on national TV. In addition, there is the cigar and the blue dress.
    Sarah, on the other hand, never did anything remotely resembling those things. As a matter of fact, every single accusation(not "making fun", but attempts to destroy her politically) has been refuted.
    Again, you completely fail at making any sort of valid equivalence here. Your record since you came to SAB, kid.

    Not really, H. While some of the criticism of her has been personal, vicious and unfair, it is the attacks on her family – her husband, her children – which we find so repugnant.

    David Letterman would have NEVER made the bathroom rape joke about Michelle or the Obama children. You know that and so do I.

    Palin has had my support for a while now. Probably because of her human way of doing things, not promising to be anything more than she is.
