Blogger Poll: Lefties 100% Sure Obama Will Win, Righties Split On McCain Win

I’m a regular contributor to National Journal’s blogger polls, but I’m terrible about linking to the results. Here’s the results for a final, pre-election poll I contributed to.
100% of the liberal bloggers polled feel Obama is going to win. Only 41% of the conservative bloggers polled think McCain will win. But, interestingly enough, the conservative bloggers felt McCain would take Florida, Indiana, Montana and Missouri (only 32% felt McCain would end up winning in Pennsylvania).
I think McCain probably will take all of those states including Pennsylvania, where Obama’s comments about Pennsylvanians (bitter clingers) and their primary industry (Obama’s going to bankrupt coal) are going to play a bigger factor than anyone realizes.

I’m waiting for my new best friend Andy to show me how that’s done.

    Obama’s definition of “unity”.

This is what the hateful and foul-mouthed “Magic Dog” was practicing.

Can’t help wonder how many of you kids are waist-deep digging bunkers for the historic landslide tomorrow, and how many are busy with that grass roots Bimbo 2012 campaign. Anyone have EV’s over 400 for President-Elect Obama in their office pool? A long shot, granted, and would require AZ to flip, but stranger things have happened to McFail.

Largely thanks to the Bimbo, I think we are going to see close to 375 in the Obama column tomorrow, but I cannot get a good read on whether ND and MT will come out in force for our next President. Who knows if they are pro-American enough. And that’s 6 ECV’s right there. Boom.

Unlike Rove, I am giving IN and MO to Obama, and GA and NC are already won based on the early voting demo. So that’s what? Another 54 on top of his 338? 392 EV’s – is that a landslide? Or do we really need to flip the great white north for that extra 6?

IMHO, that’s just splitting moose. Speaking of which, is it just me, or has Sarah been extra saucy of late? Or is it just the hair? Well, here we are splitting that hair again.

59 in Senate? Does anyone else have 59 Dems (counting Lieberman)? Are you guys counting Lieberman? Palin/Lieberman 2012 or Palin/Romney 2012? So many questions, but fear not, we have fresh four years to dissect that worm.

    Carry on

bob is here to tell us why his party’s claims of “unity” are bullshit.

The people of “tolerance” and “unity” are insulting again.

    What a surprise, eh?

Don’t count Lieberman. He’s going to be the first American politician to join Israel’s Likud Party. He’ll have four more lonely years in the Senate until the voters in Connecticut toss him to the curb with the rest of that week’s trash.

  • Magic Dog

Looks like some don’t understand the definition of “unity”, not to mention “liberal”.

Since when do I need a wingnut to define my politics? Eat it, wingnut. For eight years.

CHARGE!!! All Mccain and palin voters hit the voting booths! Bring a friend, a neighbor, a relative, or just someone that needs a ride!

    Congratulations.

You are about to elect a President who will give you a bigger government and more spending. Your new President will give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, drastically increase the number of H-1B visas, and eliminate E-verify at a time when millions of American Citizens are out of work. Your new Commander in Chief will keep American soldiers in Iraq against your will. Your new Chief Executive will borrow, spend, give away, and waste billions of dollars when the national debt is passing $12 trillion. Against your wishes your new President helped Bush give $1 trillion to the banks as his parting gift. No matter how much you object, Public Servant Number One will not listen and will continue to implement his own agenda. It doesn't matter if it's McCain or Obama.

Were not all against American soldiers being in Iraq. The progress is there, it is getting better.

What percentage of right-wing bloggers receive secret messages from the CIA through the fillings in their teeth? Let me guess: 41%.

After tommorrow the second part of the election will be fought. If either Obama or McCain loses. I don't think it matters. Both parties are gearing up. The lawyers will be called in to start the court battles. If McCain wins….whew..the rhetoric will be mindless. But..with the courts involved it will be interesting to see what dirt comes out.

The people of "tolerance" and "unity" are insulting again.

I love it when the right-wing freaks who have specialized in the flinging of insults get their panties in a twist when they get a taste of their own medicine. Well, wingnuts, get ready for a nice, long victory dance. It's been a long time coming, and boy is it ever going to be a blast!

Ahhh…that "unity" just keeps on rolling right in.

They don't notice the hypocrisy, they only excuse it.

Likwidshoe……great article. The author got this election right on the mark. Debate has gone out the window. Nothing but raw emotion now adays. It seems that people are becoming more immature. Anyone that cannot hold a discussion without reverting to vulgar language or name calling is a sign of immaturity. I do not see it getting any better real soon.

You know what amazes me? The vile,low-classed people that will say they want the country to come together, yet when it is a very good chance that their candidate is going to become the next president they cannot muster any dignity. I cannot fathom why they feel the need to be so bitter and nasty. If you are getting what you want, shouldn't you be happy? They act as if this is some sort of sporting event, where people trash-talk, rather than who becomes the leader of our country. It is beyond bizarre.

Bobbi-don't you think your pictorial responses would be more effective if you made them the standard website size [320x240] rather than the exaggerated and overemphasized [640x480]? Just askin'.

Actally, the Dems are very likely to fall one seat short of a super-majority in the Senate. That would make Joe Lieberman just about the most powerful man in that august chamber and the Dems will be fawning over him… :)
