Bitter Obama Campaign Not Congratulating McCain On Nomination

Remember when John McCain ran a television ad congratulating Barack Obama when he officially accepted the Democrat nomination?  And remember, when responding to that ad, the Obama campaign said they’d do something similar?

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe—who did not know the content of the ad until we read him the script—just told us that the McCain ad is “a very nice gesture. We appreciate that. I wish more of his ads had that tone. But for tonight, we appreciate it and will congratulate him next week on his nomination.”

Yeah, that hasn’t happened yet.

Guess they’ve been too busy running scared from Palin.

Its his staff’s fault, of course.

Nah.
Just class-less filth.

I personally, couldn’t give a Hoot…
It seemed like McCain’s milkToasty way of grabbing a bit of the LimeLight that night..
However,..
Obama needs to pay a little more attention..
You “DON’T” say you’re going to do something. And, then not “do” it.
Bad move.

It is a sign of class and craftiness. Neither of which Barri has.

Oh man. That’s kinda like when Bush said the Iraq war would cost 4-600 billion… except less expensive.

Obama and his deluded worshipers are too angry right now to congratulate McCain. Their anger is made up of absolute palatable fear! All they can do is sic their liberal media mongrels to smear the Barracuda and hope, against hope, that some of it sticks.

Fear causes an adrenaline rush and panic that can make people do crazy irrational things....and that is what we are seeing from the liberal lefties! The liberal media dispatched Code Pink and the anarchists to try and bring chaos and disruption to the RNC, but it just made them all look more foolish!

I’ve basically been snoozing through this whole political mess for the last 2 years...Hillary and Obama are socialist nut-cases and I wasn’t too thrilled with McCain either because of the do-nothing Congress...but Sarah Barracuda has rejuvenated and electrified this election and she’s raisin’ McCain!

Rob-- With all respect, the picture and the headline of this article is laughable. It reminds me of the front page of the Enquirer when I am in the grocery store line, with the goofy out-of-context picture. I know you want to win the election, but be serious.

Davinski:  Are you posting on the right thread?  Rob’s observation is exactly right.

It’s a simple question: Where is the congrats from Obama?

Jerry,

Is that like saying you are going to go with public funding of your general election campaign and then backing out… or saying that you would never throw Rev. Jeremiah Wright “under the bus” and then disavowing him and resinging (finally!) from his church./.. or saying that you will re-negotiate the NAFTA treaty and then hastily retracting that statement when your major trading partner voices objections… or saying that you will immediately end the war in Iraq and then revising your remarks and your position several times before accepting the judgment of the sitting president you’ve been campaigning against… or saying you will visit wounded US military personnel and then backing out of both opportunities because your campaign staff doesn’t trust you to fly solo without a shepherd?

Are those the kinds of things you’re talking about?

davi was perfectly willing to accept the word of the Enquirer when they claimed Limbow was a heroin dealer, and yet now it claims they are a less than reputable “media” outlet. My, my, what a two faced piece of shit.
