Biting The Hand That Feeds
From Sky News via the Drudge Report:
It just doesn't make sense.
The Red Cross isn't affiliated with any country or culture. They provide medical aide and food, among other services, across the entire globe. They do not participate in politics but instead are only concerned with helping those in need. In fact, they've even been critical of the U.S. detention of terrorist in Guantanamo Bay so they're no special ally of the U.S.
Out of the hundreds of military targets available these terrorists pick the one organization that is helping civilians get food and medical attention. How can anybody possibly say that Saddam Hussein and his followers are not terrorists? If they had struck strictly military targets it would have been a different matter.
These people have no care for innocent lives. They are fanatical. We invaded their country because we could not trust them to responsibly own weapons of mass destruction nor could we trust them to be honest about possessing said weapons. This latest attack is just another indicator of what we already know: These men are evil and deserve to be wiped out.
A suicide bomb at the Baghdad headquarters of the Red Crosskilled 12 people as a wave of attacks hit the Iraqi capital.
A massive suicide car bomb exploded outside the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) injuring 22 people and claiming 12 lives.
Three more bombs exploded in quick succession outside police stations around the capital leaving at least seven more people dead and injuring about a further 50.
