Bill Clinton: “Tea Baggers” Are Inflamed Because Democrats “Are Winning”

Sounds suspiciously like whistling past the graveyard to me.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said Clinton described the ongoing tea party protests against the Democratic agenda as a sign their party was making progress.
Whitehouse quoted Clinton arguing: “The reason the tea-baggers are so inflamed is because we are winning.”

No, Bill, the reason the public is so angry is because you guys are doing things they don’t like. The simple truth is that Democrats are trying to cram this bill through Congress with as little scrutiny and debate and transparency as possible because it’s so unpopular. They know that the longer this bill hangs out there the more the public will grasp it’s problems and the more they’ll oppose it. They know that they have to pass it this year because if the debate pushes into an election year they’ll never get it passed.
They know that if their bill was such a wonderful thing for the country they wouldn’t have to criminalize people who don’t want to participate in it.

    Senility is bliss.

  • sayanything-342

Sounds like Handjob and Blowjob are living in denial. The “majority” of the public have lost faith in Obama and his policies. It also sounds like Clinton is admitting that the Health Plan is all about power and not about helping the public. 2010 will tell just how much the public hates Democrats. My guess is that our two gay trolls will be devastated.

It will be sweet watching Barry tossed out in 2012 after two years of being a lame duck.

  • sayanything-1714

God….Rob lives in such denial it is almost amusing.

And the drug induced ramblings of Suitepatootie come across like the real partisan whistling past the graveyard.

The only people showing ANGER…..was the teabaggers. The silent majority actually support reform.

    morons on display….

“Bill Clinton: “Tea Baggers” Are Inflamed Because Democrats “Are Winning””

Willie Jeff would certainly know about teabagging.

Oh, and this is 2H9. My laptop got infested yesterday, had to take to a Geek.

  • sayanything-7939

The tea party camp is just the first wave of what is yet to come. Most Americans, at least those whom are informed like to know what is being legislated to them. When more and more non-ideolouges become aware of 2,000 plus pages bills, soaring deficits and tax increases eating away at their take-home pay, there will be no more tea parties…just tax revolts.

  • sayanything-51

Mr. Mouth, is that like a personal attack or something?

Like you said, it’s all you got.

  • sayanything-106

He sounds a lot more presidential than the moron that occupies the white house now.
    Still he is wrong.

  • sayanything-9974

Oh snap – spit the scrotum out before you respond.

  • http://www.2plus2equals5.net winston_smith1

backed by communists? what year is it? 1950? 1960? you’re kidding, right? you weren’t alive when the soviet union existed. so don’t you talk about communist backing.

i forgot. it’s because you don’t want to think about them are their desires so you just take the easy way out. call them communists. but, calling them communists is old hat. you should have called them al Qaeda sleeper cells. that way you can get the non-thinkers to hate them even more.

  • sayanything-106

    Wrong gong…

  • sayanything-1714

I most certainly have not categorized everyone as a tea bagger….just the angry people we have seen….at the Tea Bag parties.

If you are angry……and you haven’t gone on television at a tea party event, how could my criticism apply to you?

And as I said….the silent majority supports health care reform, even if they don’t know what it looks like. The only party proposing actual reform is the Dems.

But the “massive bill” is being cut. Most of the things you think you don’t like will not be included, more than likely.

It was smart to distract people with things they can object to, in order to get the bill passed. You guys are easy to fool….because you are foolish.

  • sayanything-322

Oh, and where are dems winning, other than NY 23? Everywhere else you got your asses handed to you, you can’t even get your dream legislation through with a majority, unless you use bribery and sneak it through in the dead of night. Funny, sanni, when Republicans voted through a bill in the same manner Nanny did you screeched for a month, now it is okey dokey, huh?

  • sayanything-1714

Yes, they are different. That’s the small fringe of our party…….we condemn them, and you praise your idiots.

Watch some of the videos for God’s sake…..you support these fools. Dummy.

  • Hanni

It’s not even the end of his first year yet PP,…..let’s see where we are after 3.

It’s going to be interesting to see how radical the right gets in that time.

  • sayanything-1254

Hannitized… Bill Clinton was a better than average president and extremely popular. He did some things well, and others badly. But a third term? No.

Perhaps you mean Clinton should be in office in place of Barack Obama? No argument there.

  • http://www.2plus2equals5.net winston_smith1

it too bad republicans haven’t lost faith in their party either. along with the republican socialist leanings.

  • sayanything-1714

Yeah….you might get ready to bend over too Goon…..this is just the beginning.

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

You should listen to the Clinton video. Listen to it a couple of times! omg. That Bill Clinton really makes sense.

  • Hanni

Bill Clinton as usual is right on the money….if only he could have a 3rd term

  • sayanything-1714

Sorry Rob, but there is a large portion of the country that doesn’t vote, and therefore doesn’t get polled.

And those polled show they support reform……anyway.

Further, check out your little video about Joe Biden……THATS’ your silent majority baby.

Your kooks……well….we have them on video. They protest and and COMPLETELY uninformed. Scary.

  • sayanything-106

STFU you moron, the people are mad because they don’t this socialist crap shoved down our throats. Of course your ilk is oblivious.

  • sayanything-1714

More angry idiots, who don’t understand the issues…

  • sayanything-342

Obama and Pelosi are silently killing the Democrat party. More power to them. As for this economic mess, the Democrats played a strong part in this. The CRA, Freedi Mac and Fanni Mae(sp) were all managed by the demoncrats. Bill Clinton’s NAFTA was another nail in the coffin.
The banks must of bought off Obama because they are all reporting record bonuses for this year. This admin is a joke and the joke is on America.

Obama has done nothing towards improving the economy. He and his staff are clueless. He’ll be gone in 2012, you can count on it.

  • sayanything-3430

If anyone would know about tea bagging it would be Bill Clinton.

  • http://fu.com/ robert108

Clinton, like all the other leftie liars, has it backwards, even with his vulgar misstatement about “teabaggers”. From its inception, the Tea Party movement has been hated and feared by the lefties, since it represents real Americans speaking out without the benefit of “community organizers” that all leftie movements have to depend on.
The success of the Tea Party movement has the Dems/lefties scared to death, and there’s a lot more coming.

  • sayanything-1317

Awww, Hanni and Dino have matching Pom Poms and skirts. How….disturbing.

  • sayanything-256

    Yep, Clinton is dead-on.

You conservatives are even more disliked now than you were in 2006 & 2008 . All the hate that your teabagging is showing is just alienating even more decent Americans, and so condemning you nutjobs to the fringes.

    Thanks.

  • sayanything-4416

The public isn’t angry. The right wing fringe teabaggers are angry. If you were truly the public we’d be living under a McCain/Palin adminstration. If your views were anything but extremist, you may not have lost Congress in 2006.

Living in your echo chamber gives you the illusion of inflated numbers.

Obama enjoys the same support he got in the election. Conservatives enjoy less. Otherwise your guy might have won the election in that republican district of New York last week.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

This “silent majority” is so silent every objective public poll shows at least plurality opposition to government health care.

What you want to be true and what is actually true are two different things.

  • independentlady

You are so right Hannitized! The silent majority does support health care reform, just not the massive bill the partisan Dems are touting!

Also I am angry about this and several other bills and I don’t belong to the Tea Bag party, nor am I a “teabagger” but you must be if you keep using that word to characterize anyone who disagrees with you.

  • sayanything-4416

No, they just wrested control from your filthy, ignorant republicans by luck.

    Dumbshit.

  • sayanything-1317

“There’s a large portion of the public that doesn’t vote…”

Who cares? They are so apathetic to the process that they don’t cast their vote for what they want. Yea, they matter. So much.

  • sayanything-4416

Are you kidding? I’m having the time of my LIFE watching this country decline! After 30 years of watching arrogant conservatives create bad fiscal policy, seeing the middle class take it hard and deep is a delight! I am totally and completely vindicated!

When I read about the struggles of the blue collar who abandoned liberalism, the struggles of the young people they produced, it makes me laugh. The only way we’ll see radical change in this country is when the people are crushed under the weight of their own ignorance for supporting republicans for decades.

I’ll be fine. Your kids and grandkids? Not so much!

  • sayanything-4416

OPEN WIDE GOON! That ain’t all he’s going to shove down your throat!

  • sayanything-4808

Neither Obama nor the Democrats enjoy any real support from the general public. They’ve woken to the fact that in their rowdy and immature go-along on jeering Bush, they voted against Bush but not in favor of Obama. They’re realizing he isn’t any of the things they thought he’d be. He’s unpresidential, immature, arrogant, self-serving, egocentric, insecure and narcissistic. They were presented with the opposite of Bush and all that implied from the image of Bush created by the media and not Bush’s actual actions. They were given a picture of Obama that was indistinct to the point of invisibility where he was allowed to be on every side of every issue without any question of any of it.

He’s not what they think they were sold and they will not blame themselves, so he and they will get it right in the shorts at the election booth.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

And the mobs who protested the war and bush? The ones backed by communists who were actually violent and destructive?

I suppose they’re different, right dummy?

  • sayanything-81

“The reason the tea-baggers are so inflamed is because we are winning.”

    Oh snap.
    Clinton, that meanie.

    INFLAMED TEABAGGERS! bwahahaha.
    Rhode Island elitists! bwahahaha.

    (We’re f**ked.)

  • sayanything-4416

Democrats won that other New York seat right after the election, the other congressional race that was to show the repudiation of Obama.

NY-23 was the teabaggers’ big stand. THEY LOST. In a district strongly republican. “Everywhere else” was NJ and VA governorships, both of which have flipped back and forth since 1977, the last time in 2001 when bush was president.

Democrats won another seat in California. In total, dems increased their majority by *2*.

I like you as wifey. It’s what I suspected all along. Get yourself a SAB virus? THis place is thick with them. If only the blog owner would have taken care of all the viruses embedded here rather than switch over to this awful commenting system.
