Biden Wants To Be Patriotic With Your Money, Not His

David Harsanyi makes a great point about Biden’s claim that raising taxes is “patriotic,” especially in light of Joe’s less-than-stellar record of charitable giving.
When exactly did taxation transform into a form of charity? Biden, it seems, has a difficult time differentiating between coercion and generosity. The distinction is simple: When one fails at altruism, he is a louse; when one fails to pay taxes, he ends up in the slammer.
But anyone can “jump in” at any time. Biden and his wife, who would be considered wealthy under an Obama/Biden tax plan, for instance, gave an average of $369 a year to charity during the past decade. So you can see that by “help,” Biden means assistance with your money.
If Obama/Biden and their liberal following want to see more patriotic giving nothing is holding them back. Nothing is keeping them from donating more to charities. Heck, nothing is keeping them from volunteering more taxes.
It’s interesting that whenever the liberal left talks helping people out they’re always talking about using other people’s money to do it?
