Sen. Barack Obama better not mess with his running mate Joe Biden’s guns…or else.

In an out-of-nowhere attempt to re-assure a southwestern Virginia labor crowd about gun owners’ rights, Biden — who regularly scores “F” ratings from the National Rifle Association — warned Obama that if “he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem.”
“I guarantee you Barack Obama ain’t taking my shotguns, so don’t buy that malarkey,” Biden said Saturday at the United Mine Workers of America’s annual fish fry in Castlewood, Virginia. “Don’t buy that malarkey. They’re going to start peddling that to you.”
Biden told the crowd that he himself is a gun owner. “I got two,” Biden said, “if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem. I like that little over and under, you know? I’m not bad with it. So give me a break. Give me a break.”

Doesn’t this remind you of the time John Kerry went hunting in Ohio while trying to suck up to the rural voters there when he actually wouldn’t be caught dead in their company otherwise? But, hey, you can believe every word Biden says when it comes to guns, just like Kerry. He means it.
Really.
Just keep your finger on that trigger, Dems…..you’ll shoot your own foot off sooner or later.

I think it’s pretty well established from his State Senate record that Senator Obama is 100 percent opposed to any gun ownership.

I’m less concerned with Biden’s $5000 over/under shotgun than with the guns that average people use for protection.

Obama & Biden are both against the 2ndA. That POS Biden authored the assault rifle ban back in 1994 which did ZERO to prevent gun crime, but It did turn millions of gun owners into Republicans and helped increase NRA membership.(Well done Joe). As for Obama and his phony buddy Ray schoenke at AHSA, all one has to do is look at Obama’s voting history and comments he has made about guns, the man truly would love to disarm law abiding americans. Schoenke & AHSA are just a front for democrat politicians to say ”look a pro gun/hunting group endorses me”. Just check out who AHSA donates $ to, end of story. B.O. & Joe are right, they won’t take my guns, but they will make it a crime to buy or own any gun they claim you ”don’t NEED”. That assault rifle/pistol ban in B.O.’s home town of Chicago is working real good at keeping guns out of lawful citizens hands, but the criminals don’t seem to follow that law….shocking revelation huh liberals. One more thing, I will give any garbage brained liberal all my firearms if they can find the word’ HUNT’ in the 2nd Amendment, feel free to stay at home all day on November 4 to find it libs. The Supreme Court has ruled that the 2nd Amendment guarantees INDIVIDUAL rights and freedoms, not collective.

I am not a religious person, (so don’t bang me up on religion, I just remember those catchy phrases). I find this appropriate for Obamer and Biden. As a philosophical statement it seems to fit the moment.

Well lets chalk up another of the many many many many virtues and skills of obama. He knows it all, he does it all and will do it all…gee such a change. When he was with the state senate in Illinois he only knew how to punch the present button. He was too busy attending functions for gathering money for his campaigns from the Chicago gangster rezko and the Chicago political machine. He didn’t have time to vote.

Then we he slid into the US senate seat he has the record, of the most not votings, except for a senator who had brain surgery, since they starting keeping tract.

If this guy is so wonderful, how did he get that way. He can’t even find a birth certificate and a Columbia College transcript. OH WELL he has to come up with both by September 24th.

I’m sure Obama is quaking in his boots after having been threatened by his vice presidential candidate! I’m sure that Biden, the senator from MBNA, is quite the sportsman and if he’s truly serious about preserving his gun rights, will vote for McCain/Palin himself, come November!
