Biden, Obama’s Attack Poodle, Will Go On The Offensive Against McCain

Okay, this could be fun.
Joe Biden, who has belly flopped not once but twice in his previous bids for the White House, is going to go on the attack. He’s comin’ after you, John McCain. And his line of attack will be devastating, original, and oh-so-clever.
He’s going to say – brace yourselves – that electing McCain will be like electing George Bush all over again. According to CNN he’ll say that we’ve seen this movie before and that McCain can even be called Bush 44 because they’re just so alike. And that McCain is out of touch with real America. Wow. Hose him down, he’s on fire. As usual, the Obama camp will be pandering to its base on the left while accusing McCain of being out of touch with the public, an act of the purest hypocrisy.
I’m sure there will be thunderous applause and roars of approval from the far left for Obama’s newly appointed attack poodle when he presents this razor sharp point of view, but I have to wonder just how far the ripple effect of this type of rhetoric will spread in the bigger pond of politics. Will it resonate with the rabid far left and even some of the middle left? Sure. But then, they’re already so addled by their hatred of Bush that any comparison of anyone to Bush would have them foaming at the mouth and engaging in spittle flecked rants.
Biden, who has been known for tripping over his own tongue, had better hope his handlers will be keeping a tight leash on him and won’t allow him to stray from whatever comments they script. If he does he has the potential to say something really, really crazy like, oh, that Hillary is better qualified and would make a better VP than he would. But, who would be stupid enough to say a thing like that when you’re trying to win an election?
Anyway, watching Biden go on the attack will be a little like watching a NASCAR race. Most people don’t watch it because it’s a race, they watch it so they can see a crash when it occurs. And somewhere on the track one almost always happens.
Anyone want to bet that Biden’s wheels will come off at some point?
