Biden Viewed More Unfavorably Than Ryan

Here’s something interesting as we prepare for the vice presidential debate. According to a poll from Pew, Vice President Joe Biden is seen in a far less favorable light than his counterpart in the Romney campaign Paul Ryan:

A new Pew survey released ahead of tomorrow’s debate finds that registered voters are not that hot on Vice President Biden.

Of the 90 percent who expressed an opinion, 51 percent view him unfavorably.

His GOP counterpart, Paul Ryan, on the other hand fared a lot better. Only 40 percent of the 84 percent who expressed an opinion viewed him unfavorably.

Democrats are fond of demonizing Rep. Ryan, and the oft-referenced “Ryan Budget” which, if we’re to believe the claims from the liberals, will push old people off cliffs and the like. Yet, for all the efforts put in to tarring and feathering Ryan as some sort of a conservative extremist, he’s viewed in a more positive light than VP Joe Biden who was made the chief spokesman for Obama’s stimulus spending strategy.

Kind of makes you think that the attacks on Ryan aren’t getting the traction Democrats think they are.
